- Q: So my vehicle's amp recently stopped working. It worked great after I installed it about a year before, so after testing for shorts, burnt out fuses, etc, I decided that the amp had died on me. After getting a new one-and it not working either-I checked the voltage at the end of the power cable where it hooks onto the amp. I get a 12v reading when the ignition is off, but only a 4v reading when it is in the run or aux. position. The in line fuse is good, as well as the battery (just had it checked). Any ideas as to why this is happening? As of this posting, I have NOT tried running a new power cable yet, but that is the next step if nobody has an answer. Thanks.
- If the electronics paintings, then it isn't the battery, Hooking up the skill twine the floor does no longer something, there is not any longer a circuit to end, without skill. Even the distant turn twine, having skill, would the two placed the amp into risk-free practices, or pop the fuses...Does it attempt to coach over? or if no longer, does it have a starter solenoid?

- That potential supply is right for that card... do not hardship approximately it... The 4890 takes much less potential than a 4870 and my previous equipment with a 4870 relatively purely used 330W with dissimilar 120mm case followers a 92mm and an 80mm... in case you have already got that PSU then save it....

- No, it doesn't need one, but it's also a crappy purchase. The Radeon 6670 costs about the same, doesn't require external power, and slaps the GT 440 silly.

- Q: I have a psu that has two slots for 8 pin power connectors. It only came with one 8 pin to 6+2 pin and one 8 pin to 6 pin power cable. I have a video card that needs 2 8 pin connectors and I need a cable that is 8 pin to 8 pin. I can't use 6-pin slots because I have used all of them. I have found extenders but no male to male cable. - Q: lost the original cable at a gig, but I have another cable. the outlet on the Behringer guitar amp reads quot;Use only with 250V fuse, but right above the outlet it reads 220-240 with a upside down triangle next to it (not sure if this represents volts or not...I know obviously V stands for volts, but this is a upside down solid triangle.)My power cable/cord that i found reads 10A 250VI know i should probably purchase one direct from the manufacture, but that is not possible right now. - Assuming you're in a place where the outlets provide 220 to 240 volts, it's fine. The 250 volts on the power cord just means it's good for *up to* that.
- Q: Im going to get a new graphics card. I am getting the XFX Geforce 9800 GT and it needs 1 six pin PCI Express power cable. It comes with a cable to convert 2 molex cables into 1 six pin pci power cable. Problem is, is that dont have any molex cables available. I have 4 SATA power cables. So if I got a converter to convert 2 SATA power cables into 2 Molex cables into 1 six pin power cable work? Would I lose any voltage/ watts? - I okorder ) And no, it won't work. The PCIx power is drawing from a different part of your PSU than the molex is. Send me an email, and we can talk about upgrading that PSU. If we figure something out, I'll edit the post on here to reveal our findings. Cool?

- Either find a rubber boot with enough space through it (where your steering column goes through), or drill a hole and use the grommet that comes with your Amp Install kit. If you choose to drill, MAKE SURE you have enough clearance on both sides.
