Q: I have a gig with my band and we need something to use as an amp stand. i was thinking a foldable chair would work the best, help?
As long as it's a good strong chair sitting level on a solid floor then it should be okay. Just check it from time to time to be sure it stays stable. Years ago , before I got my extension cabinet , I used a chair with no problems. And my amp was a little pig , it was a 70's Fender Twin with 2 heavy duty JBL speakers so it was heavy as all get out but the chairs handled it with no problem. It really helps to have the cabinet up where you can hear it. I used to carry around a couple of those plastic milk crates for the places that didn't have folding chairs available. They worked really good too. I would cover the crates with a black cloth before I put the amp up on them so it didn't look too cheesy.Actually you could't even tell what the amp was sitting on.
Q: I have heavy aluminium chairs around a table on my outdoor patio, see http://www.norths .za/cat6.php?catID=7 My patio floor comprises unglazed tile, and the chairs are hard to pull out to sit on and once seated, to slide toward the table. The ends of the legs are round +- 18mm (3/4 inches). I have tried felt pads - no good - they wear away in days. I have tried hard plastic caps - a little better - but still difficult to move. What can I do to allow the chairs to slide easily.
Have you considered casters(rollers) They should be available for 3/4 legs.
Q: Well I have ran into a little issue with my wedding ceremony...The only place I have managed to find to rent enough chairs for my wedding is booked full (of course) well my wedding will be taking place outside in June so I would really like to have something for guests to sit on (not the ground). Any one have any creative ideas....my mother suggested bales of hay.... Future brides learn from my mistake it's never to early to book your rentals :/
How many guests and where are you located? Yes, you can use bales of hay with linens draped over so guest will not have hay all over their clothes. Check with a local restaurant that may be closed at the time your ceremony and reception takes place and ask if you can borrow them and give them free advertising in your program (nothing fancy just a mere mention). You can also check with Parks Recreation, a local VA hall or even other churches. If you have to go with the ground (for some odd reason) make it fun with blankets that guests can take home with them. It really depends on your style or theme of your wedding that dictates what to use.
Q: There are several principle chair?
Support bar chair is made of hydraulic principle! Just like the jack of a car. If it does not rise, it will be that the hydraulic pound valve is closed! Such a situation will not explode! The explosion occurred mainly because of the closure of the hydraulic rod, the damage of the valve, or the damage of the slot. The reason that the internal pressure is too large, the lifter is jacked up!
Q: I work online and spend around 6-7 hours a day online. What is the best computer chair to maintain good posture and what not?

Q: The chair in the corner of the room hasn't moved in ages and I can feel it looking at me. Maybe I can invite it to a animal-balloon clown party!!
I don't know about the chair but I'm certainly laughing at you :P
Q: well heres the story. My boyfriend and i are moving into an apartment together soon and his grandfather decided he was going to make us some chairs for our balcony. And though i am extremely greatful that he took the time to make them for us and that it was very nice of him, the chairs are bad. they are pretty much 2 pieces of wood and 4 sticks for legs. We cant tell him we dont want them even though we appreciate it because hes the type that gets really mad and offended if you dont accept a gift (and i guess i would be too) So what i am asking is...after a few weeks what can we tell him happened to where we cant keep them anymore? and like i said ia am greatfule that he made them but im afraid ill have to get a tetanis shot before i sit on them. what should we say?
They're for your balcony, you don't have to look at them 'round the clock. I think putting some cushions on them and a coordinating flower pot or two would look nice on your balcony. You should appreciate them for the time and effort Grandpa put into them. I have a three-legged table that my Grandpa made a long time ago. It wouldn't be my first choice but it's my only heirloom from him.
Q: I can snowboard perfectly fine down the slopes, I have no problem with balance or turning or anything like that. But every single time I get off of a chair lift I eat s**t. I try and do everything the people tell me, I even got a grip on my board but my boots slips right off, and my board is shiny which again makes it super slippery. I have tried putting my foot against the back binding but again my foot just slips out of position as soon as my board touches down on the snow ramp thing.! In the end I had to ask the guy to stop the chair lift and let me off so I didnt injury myself some more. Please help we are going up again in a few weeks and I dont wanna stack every time. Thanks any help is appreciated.
Try halfway sticking your boot in the straps like how someone wears a shoe while stepping on the heel part, wearing it like a slipper. Try to hook your free foot on some loop (probably the backstrap). One thing that'll really help is if you tighten your front foot(the one that's strapped in)'s ankle muscles, that'll make the back more rigid and easier to work with. You could also try to lean backwards a little, so that you have more weight on the back foot, planting it in place. While riding up the lift, right before, knock off excess snow so that you decrease chance of slipping. Good luck.
Q: I'm also looking to make a lot of beanbag chairs to throw all together in a corner for a hang-out zone. Does anyone know how to make them, or can you point me to a blog or something that could show me how to do it? Or just someplace cheap to buy them :) Thanks!XOXO Star
