Q: Are twin sleeper chairs comfortable enough for the occaisional weekend guest?: I have a chair and a half, meaning it's longer than a regular chair, but not as long as a love seat. It pulls out to make a twin bed, which our daughter has used. It's the best of both worlds if you have room for it. I bought the matching ottoman, which holds blankets, sheets, candles and a few other things.

Q: I have a microfiber chair that is looking a little dingy, what is the best way to clean it? Is there a good product? Any advice??: I had a Microfiber chair. I also have a black lab. When she was a puppy, she would vomit, pee, and do almost every imaginable nasty thing to that chair that you can imagine. Here is how i cleaned it when needed... 1. I have a bissell carpet cleaner with hose attachments. I filled the resevoir with HOT water. I filled the cleaner tank with... lysol cleaner with fabreeze. I first sprayed the chair with the cleaner out of a spray bottle so that the cleaner could work its magic for 15 minutes before i turned on the bissell. After presoaking with the cleaner, i turned on the bissell and sprayed it with hot water. i waited for a few minutes, 5 at most, and then began to spray and suction repeatedly all over the chair. This worked awesome and did not discolor or bleach the fabric. It also left the fabric smelling very very nice, since it had febreeze in it. After i cleaned it, i sprayed the chair with 3M SCOTCH GUARD in order to prevent later stains. Now my puppy is fully grown and doesn't do nasty things to the furniture. Good Luck. -Luis Pernia

Q: I want to reupholster my dining room chairs. I haven't found a website that shows how to with the style of chair I have. Here is a link to a similar style: That's not for a novice. Do you have good sewing skills now? You won't find any directions for that chair. You will find how to's to upholster, but not for any specific pieces of furniture. Try it, or hire a seamstress or upholsterer. Your choice.

Q: I really want to be first chair in flute. I was told to participate and be a part of every band event. What other things can I do to be a first chair?: You have no control over how well others play or how a band director chooses to seat people. You only have control over what you do. So the better question would be, How can I become a better player? The answer is take private lessons and [: practice :] (yes, those are repeat signs). Concert band chair placement is usually based exclusively on your audition performance, not on your leadership abilities. Prepare as well as you can and perform your audition to your highest level of ability. If someone beats you out, you have nothing to be ashamed of. However, if you don't try your hardest and still get first chair, then you should be ashamed of your own effort (or the lack thereof). Marching band section leaders are often upperclassmen that have demonstrated marching and playing ability. Work on those aspects as well as working well getting along well with other band members and you've done all you can.

Q: Tell us how, if you were a wrestler, injure someone with a chair.: if it were a steel chair bust them over the head bust them on the back take their hand and close the chair on their hand take their arm and close the chair on their arm. hit them in the crouch.

Q: And how is it different from a regular living room leather chair (because that's what it looks like).: Yowza is right, except that those clubs had lots of different chair styles in them (Wing, Charles of London, Tuxedo, etc )... Add this thought, from common usage... Look at the front of the arm. If it is shaped kinda like this P ; THAT's a club chair. (the front of the arm has a club shape)

Q: Anyone else does this? After about 10-15 minutes of sitting on a chair, I notice my butt is right on the edge, so I have to stand up and sit again properly. Getting very annoying.: Lol i do exactly that!! i think its probably that our back is too straight when sitting properly, so we adjust ourself unconciously to sit more comfortable although is not good for the back. But you have to stand up and sit properly again as that position starts to get uncomfortable. An on going process!! Lol best of luck.

Q: *the chairs from the ceiling that hang,,, what do they hang from and how sturdy are they?: Hanging chairs must be installed so they hang from the ceiling joist (stud). That's a strong part of the frame for the ceiling that can support weight. One hangs pictures and heavy items on the wall by inserting the hanging device into the stud, same goes for the ceiling, except it's called a 'joist'.

Q: I have 2 pine log rocking chairs that are beautiful. I want to keep them that way but do not want to darken the wood. I've had alot of advise, from tung oil to linseed oil etc. I want the finish to be water proof as well. thanks!: Thompsons water sealer in natural. It will not discolor the wood.
