- Q: I want to get Virgin Mobile, but their option list of cell phones are limited. I know that you can buy other phones and still use VM with it. Problem is, I don't know what phones I can use! If someone could tell me the names of phones i can use, id be very grateful! I'm interested in Anroid and Blackberry phones
- You can buy any CDMA phone (Verizon, Sprint, Metro, Boost) and flash it for Metro PCS service. You cannot buy GSM phones (ATT or T-Mobile) since these are built on a different technology. Caution, regular flash will allow you to use phone for talk and text. However, if you want to use data services such web or email you will need to fully flash the phone.
- Q: I have a cingular service,my phone broke.I wanna use spare t-mobile phone with cingular SIM card in it.Is there anyway that i can unlock the phone thanks in advance
- It's surprising how virtually everyone except maybe 2 or 3 are wrong here. The correct answer is YES, BUT you will have to get the phone unlocked. You have two routes you can take: Route 1 - Stage 1 - Call T-Mobile and request the unlock code for the device. You will need to provide some basic account information, as well as basic information about the phone (which they will walk you through getting). Stage 2 - Wait for T-Mobile to get back to you with the code, and they will also provide directions on how to input the code. Route 2 - Find a vendor online who will unlock your specific device via IMEI or cable. If the IMEI solution is available, you can simply provide the phone's IMEI, which is used to unlock the device. If a cable solution is necessary, you will have to acquire a data cable and unlock this way. The majority of the time you will use the IMEI solution (very seldom does a cable solution become necessary) This should answer your question.
- Q: I have a T-Mobile phone with a 2 year contract, i was wondering if i can buy a new phone(t-mobile) and just take the sim card out of my old phone to put in the new one and in the process keeping my same number and still being able 2 continue in my 2 year contract?
- Yes, I did it a few days ago. I had an blackberry but a few months later, I broked it and didn't want to upgrade it because I would have to make a new contract so I went to Walkmart, buyed a new t-mobile phone ( It was cheaper, $25.00) and then just switched the sim card to the new phone. Now it still work perfectly. Good Luck!!
- Q: What is the English language of the phone?
- The number you dialed does not exist, please check it and dial later.
- Q: I'm doing this project in school about mobile phones, and I was wondering how mobile phones or special made mobile phones for diabled people help disabled people
- I can only speak for myself, but I use cell phones a lot. I am deaf. I do not talk on the phone at all, but I text all of the time. Texting, along with e-mail and IM-ing, are the only real ways that I can keep in touch with people. There are some cell phones, like mine, that are designed with a special feature that makes them compatible with many types of hearing aids. You don't have to look too far to find a new cell phone with this feature; my phone is a Samsung Tracfone, and it is HAC. (Hearing Aid Compatible) There are other phones that are specially designed for people with other disabilities. Like, for example, there are phones that are voice activated, or they have bigger buttons and displays. These features can be especially helpful for people with disabilities.
- Q: I have an old crap phone and I want a new phone on contract.I'm not really bothered on minutes but I would like unlimited texts and some sort of internet.I would want it to be ?10 a month or under.I've seen places like Mobile .uk which offer 13 months free line rental but I've read reviews and it doesn't seem great. I would like a BlackBerry Curve 5820 or something cool like that.Anyone seen any deals or should I just try haggling on the phone?
- you're probable in hardship. you may want to make it a rule to under no circumstances provide personal assistance to someone who calls you. If something seems to sturdy to be real, it many times is merely that. Do what you are able to to cancel the deal and notify your economic corporation or mastercard business organization.
- Q: I have a T-Mobile Shadow. It's old and beat up and I got it in about 2008. I think Its due for an upgrade but I don't know which phones I can get for it. I really want the HTC HD2. I was wondering if I could upgrade to that phone for free or if it would cost anything. Or any other phone for that matter. Preferably a touch screen phone, its just easier.
- You need to go to the T-Mobile website and sign into your account or if you haven't set up an online account, do so. All cell phone carriers have their sites set up that will show you 1. If you qualify for an upgrade. 2. How much this upgrade will cost. For instance: Sprint lets me get an upgrade every year. Some phones are absolutely free and some I would have to pay a small fee ( such as a 300. phone I might only pay $50). Also, Sprint will let me upgrade after 6 months however, the credit I get is less. At 6 months, I get $50 and then at 8 months $75 and so on.) If you are not computer savvy and cannot find how to do this on your own, call T-Mobile. They will gladly and willingly direct you to their sales department and tell you what you qualify for. Hope I helped you! :) Edit: Don't forget to come back and vote! And if I helped, let me know!
- Q: I recently got a t-mobile samsung t509 phone. I unlocked it to use it for cingular. I am wondering if there is a way to change the t-zone and internet settings to cingular settings.
- Nope. Sorry to tell you that T-Mobile has made their phones to have the T-zone dafault in there. You cannot change it. I have tried it with some of my Samsung Tmobile phones. Its imposible. The only way out of this is re-flash the phone with the samsung firmaware not Samsung -tmobile firmware.
- Q: i need a write-up on the positive points of mobile phones. a genuine answer gets free 10 points! there are many uses. so list 'em all! i'll really appreciate your help
- Having a mobile phone is handy to keep in touch with long distance family or friends. You can use your mobile to let people whom you are meeting know where you are, for example if you say you will meet a friend at a shopping mall, this could mean anywhere, at the front, back, inside, or at a shop, so it would take longer to find someone, whereas if you have a mobile, you can ring them. You would be able to phone for a taxi, or for someone to pick you up if you had a mobile, And if you ever needed help finding a place or if you need a company's number, telephone directories is always there for you. If you meet someone of if you bump into an old friend, you can easily store their number on you mobile. A mobile can be a replacement for other electronic devices also like iPods, (as you can get walkman phones), and cameras, as most mobiles these days have built in cameras, so whenever you need to take a picture for whatever reason, your mobile is handy. A mobile is also good for personal safety; you can always ring someone if you are lost or in trouble, and in more serious cases, you can ring emergency services, it is always free, and some mobiles have emergency battery stored for emergency calls. Mobiles can also be for entertainment as many come with games and/or internet. And also when you are bored you can text a friend-many phone networks provide you with anythine from 300 to 1500 free texts a month. That better be worth 10 points!
