- Yes you can activate your old sidekick with T-Mobile. You would need to bring your old cell phone and activate that sim card as a prepaid. I recommend bringing that sim card and your cell phone to a nearby T-Mobile store and they will activate that sim card for you on the sidekick prepaid plan. The sidekick plan will cost you a $1.00 a day which includes unlimited text, internet, email and instant messaging. However if you receive calls or make calls it will cost you 15 cents a minute. So if you add up the fees it will cost you $30 or more per month for this plan.

- not as far as i know, i think you can just get two sims and use the same phone for both would have to keep switching I also seem to remember something about a two sim holder you could have in the back of the phone but again i believe it had switching

- You have them added to your messenger contact list ? If so,go to their name and right click and go to contact details, enter their mobile phone number, then you will be able to send them text messages(SMS message) or if they have yahoo messenger on their mobile phone, you can send them an instant message that way just like if they were on the computer. Or if they are not on your messenger contact list, then go to actions drop down menu at the top of your messenger window, and from there you can send an instant message, an SMS message, and some other stuff. But under SMS message, there are two tabs shown. One is for your messenger contacts and the other is for other contacts-for example if the friends you want to send a text message to are not on your messenger contact list, this is the tab you want. When you click on the other contact tab, there will be a box you can enter someone's mobile phone number to send them a text message from your messenger. I hope this helps.

- unfortunately you cant install another OS on a phone. your best bet is to just buy a Win Mo phone. the full version of windows wont fit nor is it compatible on a phone. although there are numerous version of windows mobile floating around ROMs some custom some stock. you still need a phone that actually runs windows mobile. and although i'm sure you could attempt to update your rom for a win mo rom i'm sure it'll be a disaster! windows mobile phones are small computers that can ALSO make a phone call other phones are just. complicated phones.

- The mobile phone works on transmitted signals from a tower. The closest tower to the phone will transmit to/from that phone. As you travel it changes towers. To trace a phone one would need to use 3 towers around the in question phone forming a triangle. Where the 3 signals cross each other is the location of the phone. The police or phone company may be able to do this for you.

- Hi Amuoro, and welcome to Y!A Camcorders: You've been asking about this same thing 5 times over the past month in various other Categories, but never have you said WHICH mobile phone model # you have. Different phones shoot video in different file formats (.3GP, .3GP2, .MP4, etc.). And you need to tell us what kind of computer you have. Editing transcoding (converting) video on a Mac is different than on a Windows PC. One important point, in your Question headline you say you want your phone videos to equal those of bigger camcorders. Most phones do not have the video quality to equal the quality of a bigger camcorder, but you can at least convert them to play normally on a television or YouTube / Netflix style media player. If you want to show or distribute your videos using DVD, then the final video format will be MPEG-2 (or you can use MPEG-4 encoding for Blu-ray HD). But this encoding step is usually handled by the DVD authoring software (Roxio, Nero, iDVD, etc.). For just online distribution viewing (YouTube, etc.), you have a wider choice of video formats for uploading. Since you are relatively new to Yahoo!Answers, you might not know that you can Update your Question using the Additional Details link on the Action Bar below your Question text. - you can use any gsm phone that is unlock so long as you are just making calls and texting. where your problem will be is with any functions that has to connect to the phones internet. t-mobile uses t-zone and it can only be accessed from a t-moble phone, so you want be able to use the internet, send or receive pic messages, multimedia messages, or download anything.
