- Not sure where in the world you are, sometimes department stores have cheaper mobile phones but the best place I would suggest (if you're able to wait for a few days) is OKorder. They usually have cheap mobiles new/secondhand.

- it all depends on your credit and you plan and the phone you want. you cant just be given a set amount because you dont know what plan you want or the phone you want. also if your credit is bad then you need to put a $200. deposit to get the phone turned on. so no one can really answer that question unless they work at Tmobile. goodl uck.
- Q: If you have a t-mobile phone you know that your phone sometimes says other services than t-mobile under the service indicator. Because when your t-mobile service is down the netowrk works off of the other towers. Anyway, my t-mobile service is always two bars or less in my home area. I use to be able to work off of cellularone and att but now it says SOS. How do I make it not say SOS so I can work off of the stronger tower in my area? If I won't be able to make it stop, how can I boost my t-mobile service? Don't say get another phone cause I can't. I'm under two year contract. Thanks.
- Well unfortunately you cant make the SOS go away thats just an indicator that you dont have service. There is something you can buy called a service booster, sold at Best Buy, T - Mobile, or any online store (Amazon, OKorder, and so on) these boosters may increase your service but you cant just feed off of another network by option. The reason your phone would say Cellular One or Att is just by chance not because you could control it. Apparently those cell providers have blocked their service from t-mobile users. - You can get it unlocked by tmobile they are the ones with the unlock codes for their phones if you have had service with them for over six months call their cust care and ask for their intrnational department and tell them you are traveling abroad and you need it unlocked .the thing is though when it gets unlocked thats all good for making voice calls and most of the time texting b ut for the data side of it and usually mms messaging it wont work until you load in the cingular software for the phone or have atech walk you through the network settings to input in it. the best way to contact them is to ask the first cust care person you get what the internationl depts email is and email them your request they will 90% of the time just email you back the unlock code and instructions. hope that helps

- Generally no. Especially the newer ones. Cricket generally will flash Verizon, Sprint, Alltel, Metro PCS, US Cellular and other companies phones over but Virgin Mobile isn't one of them. Virgin Mobile phones along with Tracfone/Net10 have the highest level of anti flashing techniques built into their phones (so people can't buy their cheap phones and then not use them on VM's network). I would just get a cheap Verizon phone as they are the easiest to flash to Cricket. But make sure you are NOT in a Cricket Trimode market. The new Trimode areas can't flash other phones over because they are not compatible with the new Trimode channel. Nobody uses Trimode but Cricket and Metro PCS at this time.
- Q: I have a T-Mobile Shadow. It's old and beat up and I got it in about 2008. I think Its due for an upgrade but I don't know which phones I can get for it. I really want the HTC HD2. - You need to go to the T-Mobile website and sign into your account or if you haven't set up an online account, do so. All cell phone carriers have their sites set up that will show you 1. If you qualify for an upgrade. 2. How much this upgrade will cost. For instance: Sprint lets me get an upgrade every year. Some phones are absolutely free and some I would have to pay a small fee ( such as a 300. phone I might only pay $50). Also, Sprint will let me upgrade after 6 months however, the credit I get is less. At 6 months, I get $50 and then at 8 months $75 and so on.) If you are not computer savvy and cannot find how to do this on your own, call T-Mobile. They will gladly and willingly direct you to their sales department and tell you what you qualify for.
