Q: alright pay as u go (myphone) well its broken so i want a sidekick 2 or 3. since i didnt have a monthly bill will it be more for me or can i buy a side kick ll for about 250$ or less? How much will it cost! P.S- my pay as u go phone was t-mobile
Lemme run this down: -You had a T-Mobile to Go phone. -You don't want a monthly bill -You are concerned with how much it will cost you for a Sidekick. Now, to the answer. Okay, first, you need the Sidekick, because it is kind of hard to make the switch from a regular T-Mobile to Go phone to a Sidekick to Go. It'll cost you $400 to get a Sidekick 3 for To-Go, if you choose to buy it direct from T-Mobile. But you may have some tough luck to get a Sidekick, even a Sidekick II for under $250, even on OKorder. Sometimes the bids go really high, but you can try! The Sidekick to Go plan is simple - you get all of the Sidekick services (ie; IM, TXTing, Email, Web Browsing) for $1/day (regardless of whether you use it or not) and 15 cents a minute for calling people. For a monthly plan, it can cost $30/month without minutes, or get the Add-on and you have minutes with a $20 extra charge for sidekick data. I did a bit of research, and I saw mostly broken Sidekicks IIs for under $200. Or, they are missing a charger. But for a Sidekick, it can get over $500 on OKorder, but rarely goes under $100. But be forwarned - try Buy It Nows: they end quicker (duh) and can be better when you buy a phone so it doesn't get too hard to buy it.
Q: I saw some nice boost mobile walkie talkie phones, and i want one.
You can put a Boost Mobile Sim in most year 2002 and newer phones even most blackberries but on regular handsets download options will not work with blackberries you cannot use mobile web . If you can find someone who is familiar with iDEN mobile technology you can ask if they will unlock your Boost Mobile phone after that is done you can use a nextel 64K sim in any Java Boost handset but it must be UNLOCKED and you will NOT be allowed to download ringtones wallpapers etc
Q: I plan to travel from USA to Germany, and would like to have a mobile phone to keep in touch with my German friends. I have a GSM phone. But if I use my current mobile plan (T-Mobile USA), I will end up with high roaming charges. What's my least expensive option, preferably with free incoming calls in Germany? If it's a German prepaid SIM card, what kind should I look for? Can I order one from home, or buy one after arrival in Germany? Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.
Yes it is Possible submit your Id proof to Airtel Gallery and Purchase Aircel sim .Aircel sim is best sim for internet
Q: i lost my mobile yesterday wen iwas at school, last thing i remember is pushing it back into my pocket just before entering the playground after having lunch at home What should i do?I've already looked in the 3 classrooms i was in but should i ask everyone at school??? PLEASE HELPoh and my phone was switched off so i cant phone it
Call the mobile company and inform them of this matter and tell them to require a special password code from anybody who calls regarding your phone account. Or you may just want to have it shut off. I don't know. P.S. Think back to happier times when cell phones didn't exist :)
Q: Does it cost money to use Wifi on a mobile phone? I can understand paying for normal internet usage from your network but i'm not sure about wifi?!?! Please Help I'm thinking of getting the Nokia 5800
Its free to go to internet through your home wifi or any free hotspot.
Q: I was wondering if you also could use a japanese mobile phone outside Japan? And I mean that someone from Japan comes in Europe and wants to call his family in Japan or something. Would it be possible to call with his mobile phone?Another thing:I got the fact about Japanese people sending each other emails rather than sms cuz it wouldn't fit with the kanji and such. But now I was wondering, what if they have like a friend from England who isn't able to send or receive email with his phone? Can the japanese guy that choose to sms him? I mean with the kanji it wouldn't matter because they'll have to communicate in English. Just wondering if the japanese people still use the sms function. Also if they send someone an email with their phone, is that person than able to see that email on his mobile phone AND on the computer? Or is the email address someone has on his phone completely different than the email address he had on his computer? So many questions ^^ Please give me loads of answers :)Thanks!
Yeah she is breaking up with you sorry!:(
Q: I use my mobile phone as an alarm clock and i always have it beside me but i heard that it is not good because of the waves or something like that. i just want to know whether there are any harms if you have your mobile phone with you if you are sleeping.
To a certain extent, it does. Sometimes, after prolong periods of sleeping with your cellphone beside you or using your cellphone, the waves might cause headaches or giddiness. However, the theory of the cellphone cooking an egg is false. There was a television programme I watched a few months ago that experimented with that and the result was that the egg was not cooked even though 2 cellphones were used. An expert also said that it was not possible on the show. Some also say that it might cause cancer in the long run, but I'm not too sure about that.
Q: I am thinking about purchasing an unlocked Palm which runs on Windows Mobile. I don't think it comes with AIM. I guess I would download it from the website. My question is, if I do -- will AIM then run in the background when my phone is on standby/off or will I only receive messages when my phone is active?
If your phone is on standby and you're logged in, you will be alerted. If your phone is fully powered off, you will not (unless you tweak the settings around to allow the application to turn on your phone). You can customize a lot on the Windows Mobile phones just depends on how much time you have to learn the steps and procedures to make it work the way you want it to.
Q: Have you ever been conned into taking on a contract , with the promise of an upgrade after 6 months to find out then it wasn`t true , and you are stuck with a rubbish phone for at least another 9 months ?.I have - thanks to them lovely people at a certain mobile phone store where their ad is similar to that programme back in the eighties 321.With the dim bloke who keeps shouting YEAH !!
What mobile company is this? FIrst and foremost, you needed to have read your contract carefully before you signed. In fine print, it would have stated some conditions or requirements for the promotion. If you look over your contract and still don't find it in the terms and conditions, go back to the phone company store and tell them about thier promotional ad. They refuse to budge, call customer service and be firm. There has to be some catch that you missed because flat out lying is false advertisment, something that can land them into a big lawsuit. Check carefully your contract papers before calling them up.
Q: Anyone has or has had a virgin mobile phone--- what are the pros and cons. I know they're good 'cause there is no contract but money wise would you spend more on one of these then on a cell phone with a contract?
With any pre-paid phone you could easily end up paying double what you would pay with a contracted phone. If you would talk on it a lot, like more than 30-45 mins a day then it would be more expensive. With virgin mobile it is more expensive than other pre-paid services. I would suggest you go with Cingular Go Phone's if you know a lot of people on the Cingular network because you get unlimited mobile to mobile. And a)that saves you money and b) it saves your minuets. The major con to the Cingular Go Phones is that they dont have the latest and greatest phones. Virgin mobile has some pretty neat ones. They are both easy to set up, and if you go into any RadioShack they will more than likely offer to set them up for you. (If they dont just ask and they will) Well hope I have helped, if you have any more questions feel free to email me.
