- Noooo. Get the G1 phone from T Mobile. Its T Mobiles head phone, its a IPhone and Sidekick in one, because its touchscreen and has a slider keyboard. Right now T Mobile is preordering it to customers for 179$ if you have been in your contract for atlest half or more a year. But you wait until the phone goes orginally on sale the phone is going to be 299$. And then 399$. I wouldnt get the Sidekick simply because its now boring. tR

- You can get it unlocked by tmobile they are the ones with the unlock codes for their phones if you have had service with them for over six months call their cust care and ask for their intrnational department and tell them you are traveling abroad and you need it unlocked .the thing is though when it gets unlocked thats all good for making voice calls and most of the time texting b ut for the data side of it and usually mms messaging it wont work until you load in the cingular software for the phone or have atech walk you through the network settings to input in it. the best way to contact them is to ask the first cust care person you get what the internationl depts email is and email them your request they will 90% of the time just email you back the unlock code and instructions. hope that helps

- It is ultimately possible to put a Boost Mobile phone on Virgin Mobile, but the hassle involved (not to mention the laws broken to do so) makes the answer: Technically yes, but not feasible. Virgin Mobile does not allow outside phones in their system, regardless of if other carriers have it available or not. The problem here is that in order to make an outside phone work and get by their rules, you need to do what is known as ESN cloning, where you take the ESN of a Virgin Mobile phone and put it on the phone you want to use. ESN cloning is currently against federal law (primarily DMCA laws) and some state laws as well (notably New York State). It is just easier (and most likely cheaper) to just buy a Boost Mobile phone if you want to use Boost Mobile services.
