- Q: My house is very old and the cieling won't hold the weight of someone sitting in the chair. Is there any way I can make a frame or something that will help support the weight.
- Even is your house is old, you can still install this chair so it works and doesn't rip the ceiling down on your head. I've done this sooooooo many times (mostly for very heavy chandeliers) and it works! You will however, need to prepare first. You'll need to go up into the space above the ceiling of your room and the roof. You can drill thru the ceiling and use a very long screw post (you'll find it at any good home hardware store... just tell them what you want to do) It's a long pole with threads just like a screw but flat on both ends. You can bolt this into a support post in the attic crawl space, then it will come out thru the ceiling in your room. Add a hook for 250 pounds to the thread post and hang your chair... it'll hold 250 pounds, easily! Nice chair, by the way!

- Well, they need washing too, like your pants. Problem is you can't throw them into the washer. It's a damp sponge, soapy water, immediately blot, repeat, repeat, repeat and leave for the weekend. Come back Monday and spray with Febreeze. Don't forget to wash the rest of the chair, any arm rests, they get sweaty too.

- not really, there are vinyl repair kits for tears, but cracking is just too small to repair well. Its probably not worth recovereing since it was not a expensive chair to begin with I imagine., What you can do is great awesome form fitting covers now that are hard to tell that its a cover. For a chair, probably 60 bucks maybe less if you shop

- hello. suede chairs good for a dining room , my opinion well here's the thing, it totally depends, are you eating at your dining room often do you have children are you the only person who uses the dining room is there an alternative place where meals are eaten for example ( breakfast nook ) is the dinning room only used to eat meals , or also as a study table ? if you have children , or use your dining room table on a daily bases then I would suggest not too suede is a very beautiful material, but in many cases it is rather unpractical, when you have guests over you don't wanna consistently be worrying about your suede chairs as for scotch guard it Doesn't really change the feel at all but it my option it doesn't really work, we have a 8 seater fabric dining room set and its barely a 3 years old and it looks like 30 years old, is very badly stained please make wise decision good luck and may you enjoy your new dining room set
