- I don't think the goose-neck bearings are bad, I think all it needed was lubed and tightened up. but if you wanta spend ur money on bearings you never needed in the first place, or if you listened to a liar motorcycle dealer that told you you needed them, only because he wants to make money by selling you new bearings then there's nothing i can do. just remind me to never buy a used bike from you I hate motorcycle dealers, OOOOOO I HATE THEM AGGGHHHHHHH HATE THEM soooo bad!

- You can clean with gasoline and acetone in a bottle of Gatorade or powerade what ever similar. you shake the bottle for a while when you see that's turning to other color you let dry.
- Q: I'm buying this old classic 1983 yz125 for like 200 bucks. The guy said it needs a piston and bottom end bearings. I'm just a little confused on what bottom end bearings are. Like crankshaft bearings? Also if you know where I can find parts for an 83 that would also help to lol.
- The bottom end rod bearings on that model are roller bearings. If they need to be replaced a dealer has to pull apart the 2 piece crank and press it back together. Not a do it yourself job. I can't help you with finding parts

- the bearings are the little balls in a cirle case...very little, they go into the wheel to make it turn. you can buy them at a local skate shop, NOT SOMEPLACE LIKE K-MART, WAL-MART, (etc.). they can run anywere from $14-$50.

- 1 i highly doubt it has replaceable ball bearings....most cheap grinders have a bushing......... #2 even if it does have replaceable bearings....its probably cheaper to just buy a new angle grinder than to try and have them replaced.... #3 there is no specific part for this.....i mean yes there is but no way to find out since u would have to pull it apart and look........ #4 also since u didn't say which bearing are u talking about??

They are called Non-contact rubber shields. it seems like for some reason they Are coming in contact with the bearing, what should i do?
- Sounds like you bent the shields when you inserted them, or put them too far in. The shields should be flush with the edges of the bearings. This is assuming that the bearings spun without the shields. You did remember to not use water-based cleaners on the bearings?

- True North is 15% off magnetic North. I'm not sure how your assignment is supposed to be worked but as an ex Navigational guy in the USN I can tell you we always put North at 000 the bearing on a location 15% east of there would be 015% South=180, East=090, West=270. that's how professionals do it we just don't worry about magnetic North. All our bearings are calibrated to true North
