Specifications:
Needle Roller Bearings (needle bearing) is a cylindrical roller with roller
bearings, relative to its diameter, roller both thin and long. This is called needle
roller. Despite having a smaller cross-section, has a higher load bearing capacity
equipped with a thin and long needle bearing roller (roller diameter D≤5mm,
L / D≥2.5, L is the length of the roller), so radial structure is compact, its
diameter size and load capacity and other types of bearings, minimum diameter, especially for radial dimensions limited support structure.

- Q: To take it to a shop to be repaired...It's a 2003 Nissan Sentra GXE.The estimate he got was for $1000, but that seems like a lot of money. Does that sound about right?
- wheel bearings r about 100 dollars each and about 100 to install...total job about 300 to 350..
- Q: i bought some new bearings today, Bones Reds. the guy at the shop said that they were so fast they didn't need an abec. after riding i thought that my old bearings, the rush abec-7's, went faster. i just wanted to know which is faster
- There is no way for someone to give you an answer to your question without testing both bearings on expensive equipment with specific loading. If the Rush bearings work better for you, buy them in the future. However both the shop guy and jibiking are full of nonsense about ABEC and also partly right. ABEC is a tolerance specification for how gaps inside the bearing and how much it can wobble when it spins. It has nothing to do with how easily a bearing spins. ABEC got used for skate bearings because companies were using Precision grade bearings which are garbage. ABEC 1 rated bearings were a vast improvement over the Precision grade. Bearing sellers then decided if 1 is good, larger numbers can be advertised as better. A few of the better bearing companies (Twin Cam, Zero Drag, Bones) have designs that are better for skating by not meeting the specifications of the ABEC ratings..
- Q: I have been checking with at least 3 different mechanic about ongoing problem in my Buick park avenue 2003.only one told me that I need to replace both front bearings and also asking me to replace tires(which I did and problem still exists) also right front tie rod..none of these other mechanic are sure what is the problem..Problem is this...Car seems pulling(no break problem) and wheels wobbling..making wide turns..what is could be?looks like all these mechanic don't want to deal with to fix my bearings..what you say?
- bad bearings are easy to diagnose. Jack up car and shake the tire. If it wobbles and makes a slight noise that's your problem. When you go to a shop tell them you want to watch them check the car and show you what the problem is. You will also hear a noise from the tie rod ends or ball joints. Any backyard mechanic knows this so a shop should.
- Q: this: http://www.narzedzia.pl/photoShopVariant/large/804_Szlifierka_k%C4%85towa_HSW_3125CE.jpgmodel hsw3125CE
- if this is a family heirloom take it to a tool repair shop and get a bid, or take the bearing out and take it to a bearing shop for a price check.
- Q: I have a 2001 Dodge Durango and it has been making a roaring/humming noise when I drive usually it gets loud when I get up to 15-20 mph. The rpm's are fine and it doesn't overheat so I suspected my wheel bearings. This morning, I jacked up the front and tested both tires. The passenger side had a lot of play in it and when I spun the wheel, it made a slight grinding noise as if something was rubbing. The driver side did not make this noise.1) is this a problem with the bearings?2) if yes, what goes into replacing them?3) is there a website that gives step-by-step instructions for replacing them?
- It okorder .. . I suggest MIBearings LLC for New Wheel Bearings. They have USA made wheel bearings at very good prices.
- Q: well i was thinking about how FKD has all the good skaters for them like Lutzka, Ortiz, and P-Rod. So are they any good
- well bearings dont really matter to me, i just use abec 3s. i suppose they would be pretty good
- Q: a boat sails on a bearing of N15E for 10 km then on a bearing of S85E until it is due east of starting point the distance from the starting point to the nearest km is thena. 10 kmb 38c. 110d. 113e.114
- My answer is a. I plotted the bearings on a plane: starting point is (0,0) and got (15,10), and (85,0). This means the first distance traveled by the boat was the nearest distance to the starting point.
- Q: So i have a longboard and the bearing it came with died on me. Changing my bearings for the first time, i had no idea what i was doing until i look to youtube. I did as they said but something fell out. It was my speed ring. So i changed themas i was told and i put the ring back on before the bolt. I dont know what i did but now it spins very fast but slows down IMMENSLY within 10 seconds of a spin test and stops abruptly. What happened? (note: i skated in the rain... Stupid me)
- Spin tests are useless, they give no indication of the bearing's performance under load. Bearings take a while to break in, especially Bones. Might take a few good days of riding. There should be a speed ring on either side of the wheel. Some Trucks do have a built in protrusion that does the same as a speed rind, so only the outer one is needed. Make sure you didn't tighten the axle nuts too much. There should be a little play in the wheels. Also, make sure your bearings are seated properly. Ditch the spacers as they often cause problems. If you skated in the rain with the new bearings, clean and re-lube them. . They might be salvageable, otherwise plan on buying another set of bearings.
- Q: what does ABEC 7 Speedster bearings mean for roller blades?
- It basically means nothing. The use of ABEC ratings was an accident in inline skating. It is about bearings used in machinery that runs at extremely high speeds. Nothing about rolling better under the weight load or speeds for inline skating. Some of the bearings used for the early inline skates were so poor that any ABEC rating guaranteed that the bearings were reasonable. Then the manufacturer's got their advertising people into the act by bragging about a number that isn't important or expensive.
- Q: I am interested in cleaning my roller blade bearings so that are free of sand.I saw a recommended video to wash the open ball bearings in acetone but I need some help understanding how to get my bearings to run their best.I found some nail polish remover and I am planning to wash the bearings in a small bath unless anyone knows if a more pure formula of acetone might be safer.I'm still doing some research and I found some chemists on the internet mentioned balancing the alcohol to water ratio 1:1 with acetone sort of like with mouth washthey also mentioned that methyl acetate and how it might help to filter it out. I'm wondering I'm now interested in seeing how acetone might react with sand (SiO2) but I'm actually thinking it might just dissolve it.What does everyone else think? Is there a better way to clean bearings? (excluding lube)
- Absolutely none of the liquids you mention will react with SiO2 or dissolve it. There is nothing that will dissolve SiO2 that won't also dissolve your bearings. The point of the various bits of advice is that the acetone (or whatever organic solvent) will dissolve the lubricant in the bearings which is holding the sand grains there. Whether you use nail polish remover, or acetone (diluted or not) or gasoline or kerosene or maybe even alcohol doesn't much matter. (Although in all cases you need to observe the safety precautions about inhalation and fire hazards, and keep the solvent off of the upper parts of your roller blades.) Your goal is to remove all the oil (or whatever lubricates your bearings) then let the bearings dry completely. Then you should be able to remove any left over sand by brushing it out of the bearings with something like a soft brush or blowing it out with compressed air. After all the sand is removed, you need to re-lubricate your bearings. (I've been assuming all along that your bearings are metal. If they are not, you need to be careful about your choice of solvents, lest you dissolve your bearing too.) I doubt there is anything else you can do to remove sand from your bearings. In the long run it's probably easier to find a place to roller blade where there isn't so much sand.
