It mainly sounds like a water faucet does when you have it turned on at normal speed. Q: how to umplug bathroom sink?: there are two options I suggest. First (and easiest,) give drano a try. That stuff has always worked for me. If that doesn't work, you should be able to take the s-trap ( the part of the drain pipe under the sink that dips before it goes through the wall.) Odds are that is where the clog is. Flush that piece out, or buy a new one. Then, check the pipe that leads from the sink to the s-trap for debris. Put it all back together. If the clog is further down the pipe, you may need a plumber.

Q: I have gurgling noise in my bathroom sink. I have snaked up through the vent pipe-through the bathroom sink (and that will stop the gurgling for a few months but then it comes back). The bath sinks usually get clogged up with hair but you may have to take some pipes apart to really get at the problem. The ones under the sink usually are made to do this fairly easily. You may have to rent a motorized snake from a rental center to make some headway on this. The motorized snakes really are effective and inexpensive to rent. But before renting try the removal of the p trap under the sink and snaking the drain from there.
