Adding more litterboxes throughout the house might help [ideally you should have litterboxes = number of cats + 1].

Q: Our house was built in the 1950's. I am almost 100% sure that the sink in the bathroom is original to the house. It is off white with gold marbled in. Pretty sure it is not porcelin. Make sure that you have a bucket underneath it. It can get quite messy. Clean out the elbow part of the drain pipe, that is where the clog usually is. Also, take something long to get up where the drain stop is and clean that. Then just put everything together. Good Luck! P.S. This is what I do if I don't want to bug my landlord. C

Q: I have gurgling noise in my bathroom sink. I have snaked up through the vent pipe-through the bathroom sink (and that will stop the gurgling for a few months but then it comes back). I don't beleive the snake goes all the way to the roof (but I'm sure it's close). Q: Help! The cleaning lady somehow disconnected the stopper in my bathroom sink from the lever that moves the stopper up and down. Now its in the down position, a sink full of water and I cant get the stopper out!!: Look under the sink. The drain pipe is called a tailpiece, and sticking out of the back of it is a lever, which is usually connected by a spring clip to the operating rod which you push or pull to operate the drain. Push the lever down; this will raise the stopper to let the water out. Then re-attach the operating rod to the lever.

Is remove the elbow pipe. If you look under your sink there will be a straight pipe going down, then a U or sometimes referred to as J shape that then goes sideways. The U is the elbow. Loosen the two clamps, take it out, clean it. Put it back together the same way you took it apart (really simple). If the clog is not in there. You may have to go buy a pipe snake at the hardware store and snake the drain.
