Drawn Cup Needle Roller Bearing :
The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall. The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.
The draw up needle roller bearing generally takes its shaft diameter as the internal raceway .However , the proper LR type inner ring can be used in accordance with application condition.

- Q: i got a 1992 ford explorer and the axle bearing in the rear are gone out. but i dont know what i need to buy to replace it. im not sure if it takes an inner and outer like the front or does it just take one? please help
- Just one bearing on each axle. Make sure to buy new axle seals, gear lube and a differential cover gasket. Sometimes the bearings are pressed onto the axle shaft. I'm not sure on the Explorer.
- Q: My husband has a dodge 3500 extended van that he uses for work. He is a floor installer, so he carries carpet, laminate, tile, and his tools in the van daily. We bought the van just over a year ago. He has put just under 40,000 miles on it (it has a totol of 211,000), and he is now on his 3rd set of bearings on the front. The van was upgraded by adding an extra leaf to the suspension on each side by the previous owner. It is a good sturdy van. The body is in almost perfect condition and it runs great, but it seems like we are always having to replace something for the front end. Is this a common problem, or could it be because of how it was modified? Is it that the front end is taking too much of the stess of the road and the load of whatever he's carrying that day? He just replaced the bearings 3 months ago, and now they are going bad again. (and that seems to be the trend, every 3-4 months they go bad)I was just wondering. Thanks
- Use a bearing packer that you can hook to a grease gun, don't use the old hand method. Also make sure you are using grease suitable for disc brakes, this type of grease can withstand much higher temps without running out of the bearings. I use synthetic grease in my wheel bearings. Try it like this one time and see how it goes.
- Q: I use the NSK rcb061014 one-way needle roller bearings, I ask you, what is its working principle, how to achieve locking?
- The main structure of the unidirectional bearing EG unidirectional roller bearing EG-- | stamping outer ring needle roller clutch (one-way bearing) can be used as a converter, a non-return device, overrunning clutch. HF (needle roller clutch): composed of stamping outer ring and plastic cage. The cage can be provided with plastic spring or stainless steel leaf, guide roller, roller, roller and needle on outer ring as locking device. HFL (clutch and bearing assembly): support bearings are mounted on both sides of the needle clutch and bear radial loads. The needle bearings and plastic cage assemblies are used as supporting bearings
- Q: Road bike. Mostly used on roads but occasionally used on loose rock roads.
- Sorry to have 2 assist you be attentive to u can not p.c.. the bearings there sealed bearing . I even have been engaged on autos for 18 years. in case you have a automobile that that has packable bearing u will can see many small ball of nevertheless as be attentive to or call stillys or bearing . i worked on a save away from Charger 2006 it had a race that the ball bearing have been save there bearing in place all of it rely on the make of the autos what they used interior the making of the autos
- Q: Some folks say that using them to go through or under the rubber cover on a tie rod end doesn't get grease into the joint itself. Sound reasonable? Many ball joints these days don't seem to be greasable with them at all -- am I missing something? Can the needles lubricate sealed bearings, and if so, what's the technique? Thanks much

- Q: Mechanic question? What are bearings?
- a bear's direction.
- Q: what types of bearings are used and what are their application?i need some good information as im finding it hard to do some research!thanks in advance!
- External bearings are usually long life types and may be sealed or not, usually tapered roller bearings designed for angled loads. Internal bearings can be of several types used in different places. In some cases, bushings, rather than bearings, are used in part or for the whole thing. It all depends on the manufacturer.
- Q: i just purchased a boat with a tandem axel trailor. the left rear tire on the way home after about an hour on the road heated up to the point grease was oozing out all over the rim and the hub was to hot to even touch. i tore the bearings out today and was wondering if it was indeed the bearings causing this to heat up or if there is something else i need to do and if it was the bearings what i need to do and how i need yo pack the bearings back in and get this to end the problems. the trailor has trailor brakes but i do not have the trailor hook up in my truck could this have caused this and if so how i could disable the trailor brakes to keep them from catching. thank you for all help
- If the heat was caused by the bearings, they should be slightly discolored. On my tandem axle car hauler, I installed grease caps with zerk fittings on them. Before each long trip, I get out the grease gun and give each about 15 pumps. Since yours gets exposed to water, I would pull all and repack, looking for signs of corrosion, pitting or rust, and discoloration. Replace as necessary with new seals. Get the greasable caps.
- Q: 2005 Sport Trac, 2WD, automatic trans w/ aprox 80K milesA few months ago there was a grinding sound from the rear of the truck that increased with speed (a whomb, whomb, whomb type sound) and even a clicking when I reversed. I was doing my breaks and noticed there was some play in the wheel when pushing/pulling but also that when I turned the wheel (both wheels up and trans in neutral) there was some side to side play (not sure if that is normal or not). Also when driving the truck slowly wobbles at low speeds and begins to shake at higher speeds. I noticed that this isn't constant and seems to greatly reduce after a left hand turn. One place told me it was the differential but I am not sure and don't want to spend a bunch of money if it's a bearing as I can replace the assembly myself for under $200.
- Sounds like outer wheel bearings but it could be the differential bearings as well. The only way to know is replace the wheel bearings and see if the noise stops. I'd check the gear oil level as well since if you were low on oil that would kill the bearings and the differential. If it's low make sure you add the specific kind for your axle.
