- Don't waste money on ceramic bearings, they won't be of any benefit and that would show in your lap times being the same regardless of what you use. There is nothing wrong with well lubricated metal wheel bearings so spend your money on something that will make a difference to your racing like better brakes, better suspension, a mod to the motor, something positive .....

- On the 2002-2003 Ford focus, the wheel bearings are actually sealed from the factory into the brake drum. There is a defect in these bearings that causes it to go out quickly. My father is replacing his sixth brake drum on this car today. That's six brake drums replaced in a year on one car because of this bearing problem.

- Bearings are the same unless you have 10mm axles. You would know this when you get the trucks. They use a different bearing, but the wheels are the same. Skateboard parts are standardized.
- Q: my home ac unit is blowing warm so had a company come out and look at it. they said the condenser fan motor bearings were shot. I declined replacement but after he left I went on the roof to check it myself but did not notice any looseness or grinding when i spun the blades. How would tech know? would this cause it to blow warm it is a heat pump rooftop unit.
- Not really sure what Your talking about, the details you gave are not exactly clear and why would you turn him down unless you did not think he was trust worthy.Yes if the fan outside is not running the unit would not necessarily blow warm air it would blow room temp air. If you go to start the unit and the fan comes on it's ok. if you spin it and it spins freely it can still be bad just not as likely. I am wondering if the compressor is even starting. when you turn the t-stat on grab the thinner of the to line see if you should feel refrigerant running threw it, if it is you will feel it and if the fan is not running it should get hot fast(The thinner copper tube going from the outside unit to the inside). The problem could also be the capacitor. What i would do is find a company you can trust you need to have a good tech look at this thing, either call the manufacture and ask them for a good company in the area, ask people in your area chances are they have used a company before, or look on the net and when you checking them out look to see how long them have been in Business, or even check the better Business bureau.

- You should clean your bearings about every month or couple months, or after you have ridden in the sand or water. When you clean you bearings you take off the rubber/metal seal on the bearing. You then place them in Acetone or High % Rubbing Alcohol and shake them around to loosen the dirt. After, you quickly dry them with paper or a towel. Once they are completely dry, you lube them with Bones Lube, White Lithium Grease, or Sewing Machine oil. DO NOT USE WD-40! Then put the rubber seals back on and you are done. Check out tutorials on youtube to get a better understanding.

- DO NOT listen to the other guy. Reds are known for being the best performing bearings in skateboarding and they are very inexpensive. I mean sure if you spent like $50+ on bearings you might get slightly better then Reds but really it's not worth it. reds are great. i've skated other bearings, always go back to reds. ask anyone at a local park
