- well i say anything above abec five is pointless (unless its bones bearing, well because they are the best) but i would go with abec 7s. theylle will get worn out faster so i would just buy bones red because they last and are cheap.

- Sure can and any of the better riders will have them in their bikes as they produce less friction. A company called Black Mamba have them Just goes to show how outdated some peoples advice can be as I could list any number of professional riders who use ceramic bearings in their bikes as they do make a difference. In the here and now a standard crf250r is around 36.5 on a dyno and to make them competitive they need to become at least 43. The ceramic bearings make the bike rev up quicker and smoother and any person who is a dyno specialist can tell a bike that has ceramic bearings in it just by that alone. So it does make a difference. Oh and thanks for the thumbs down mr B and I must say I just loved your answer to the 6ft tall guy who has a klx125 and you told him that it was the best bike for him to start racing on. I can just see a 6ft tall guy turning up to a mx track on his kiddies bike and finding no section to race in and being laughed out of the place. Perhaps you should ask Chad Reed if he runs ceramic bearing as I know the answer to that one. The question was also can you run ceramic bearings, not should I.

- Trucks are the axel and king pin that holds the wheels the bearings are the oiled spinners that go in the wheels to make them spin and spin fast you get 8 of these and 2 trucks and the hardware is the screws and bolts that hold the trucks to the deck which is obviously the piece of wood on top for a good skateboard it will cost about $160. order a skateboard from here its the best place

- Well, What You Wanna Do is Take Them Off The Wheel, And Get A Piece Of Wet Clothing, And Make Sure its not To Wet, And Not To Dry. And Gently Wipe The Bearing, Dont Scrub it Well Mess Your Bearings up. And After That You wanna Blow On them For a Little Bit, And Let them dry For A Little. And If Can Ask What Type Of Bearings Do you own?

- yes they use the same type of bearings and you can find them from your local skate shop or you can try fixing the broken bearing by cleaning it. what i do i put wd-40 and let it run through so all the dirt comes out and they once all the dirt is out you spin the bearing until the wd-40 drys out and then you put speed cream in it. but if you buy new bearings get bones reds.

- no bearings are water proof if water goes into your bearings then they will probably get ruined
- Q: i have repaired the wheel bearings (outer) how do i do the inners?
- The older replaceable inner/ outer wheel bearings come in a box with the bearing and it's race that the bearing turns on. You need to replace both the race and bearing. The old races have to be driven out with a brass drift and the new races driven back in. Take the wheel to a shop and they will install the new races. You also will need a new grease seal on the inner bearing.
- Q: So i just bought some sector 9 ABEC 7 bearings. Is it ok if i buy the speed cream lubricant, take the bearings appart, and apply the lub without cleaning them? They are Like less then a week old (the bearings).
- First off, they are a downhill bearing, if your street or vert skating i recumbent independent 7's. Second, speed cream is only really necessary when your bearings start to wear down and start to slow and make that horrible noise. if you put it in straight away it won't do much but collect dirt. so just wait a while.
