Q: I got some bone reds from zumiez and second day they lost spin. Whats wrong with them?: your bolts might be too tight, or the bearings were not pressed in all the way, or you just got a defect bearing. Just take them back and ask for help and support local shops not chain skate shops

Q: or witch hazel? im just looking through my cabinet and seeing what i have....: i cleaned my bearings yesterday and i used an air compressor to knock the dirt off then i spin my wheels as hard as a can and apply WD-40 while they spin, then i spin the wheel for bout 10-15 seconds so it sets in wipe of access then ride! ( do this for each bearing and or side)

Q: Can you tell me how to clean abec bearings and grease them?: The preferences are based on what works for you. For cleaning the bearings, I use lamp oil (desented kerosene) because it cleans out anything. I then wash it out with denatured alcohol which also dries the bearings. If you use a water based cleaner like citrus cleaners, do not soak them overnight since it can damage the bearings. Almost anything works for lubricants. Super light things like the sprays don't last very long. Some people spray them every time they go out. Oils roll quickly right away but are not as waterproof as greases or last very long. Greases are slower at the start but will last a lot longer. Use very little. A drop or two of oil or a few pin head sized blobs of grease.

Q: As stated, I have a 2003 Honda Civic EX, 2dr, MT. I have been noticing a progressively louder sound from the rear of the car. We just got new tires, and at first I thought it was that, but its getting louder. I checked everything out and nothing seems to be rubbing. The breaks are within spec and the emergency break is not dragging. Upon inspection, the left hub bearing seems tight. I removed the wheels and drums and it does not turn as freely as the right side. It is NOT loose, just tight. Could this be the source of my problem? And if so, Can I just repack the bearings or do I need to replace them? The part only comes as a complete unit, so I cannot buy just the bearing set.: most like it is the bearings. they must not have been lubricated with grease for bearings. u can probably save em still if this problem has been going on for a long time. take ur wheel and drum hub off and check. if there ain't no BB balls inside the ring then ur bearings are gone and metal against metal rubbing is happening. if they sell em only in a kit, look on OKorder or go to ur local junkyard.

Q: What Deck Trucks and Bearings n shizz would u recccomend for a street skateboader?: Deck - any brand (as long as its not walmart or others like that) 7.5 - 8 inches wide, 30 - 32 inches long Trucks - any brand that is the same size as your deck Wheels - any brand 49 - 53mm big Bearings - Bones Reds Griptape - any brand Hardware - any brand Shoes - any brand For decks I would recommend Mystery, Flip , or Baker. There are tons more, but these are my favorites. For trucks I have always rode on Ventures, but many people say Independents are the best. For wheels many people ride on Spitfires or Bones Wheels. For bearings ride Bones Reds. Cheap and good. For griptape, it depends. Mob Grip is the grippiest. I usually ride on Jessup grip. All hardware is the same. They all break eventually, just buy some cheap ones. Many people wear smaller shoes for skating because they say it is easier to control the board more. I wear 12's but when I skate I wear 10.5s. I would recommend DVS, Fallens, or Globes.

Q: i was planning to buy a new bearing, but do they have different sizes? (sure answer pls......): 99$ of skateboard trucks have an 8mm axle and use 608 bearings. Only a few trucks have 10mm axles, usually used for large wheels on longboards. Unless is says 10mm axles on the package, they are the standard bearings.

Q: Any suggestions? Been lookin around.. found arsenal abec 9s reeeeallly cheep but i cant find them anywhere to see how bad they are if i can get 16 for $10. Secondly my skates are about 4 years old should i get new spacers as well?: I don't know that brand, but at that price I guess you can't go wrong. I personally use Swiss abec-5's, good performance, speed and durability. And yes do get new spacers while you're at it.
