Q: my speaker makes a fuzzy or static noise while the scene has high or low sound. I cut my wire in half because I bought a subwoofer and we didn't get the wires with it. So I cut it. After all I didn't need the wire for the subwoofer. Could my speakers make such noises because of cutting a wire?
I have no idea what you did. Which speaker(s) makes a static noise? You cut your wire in half. Which wire? Is your subwoofer wired to the speaker outputs or the SUB OUT on the receiver? Did you splice this wire or simply trim it, strip the ends and plug it into the receiver speaker outputs and the terminals on a speaker? What are you powering these speakers and subwoofer with? A receiver or an all in one HTIB unit? The best way to get good answers with any question is to provide as many details as possible - model numbers and the conditions under which the problem occurs. Details please.
Q: 4.A uniform semicircular sign 1.00 m in diameter and a weight of 325 N is supported by two wires. What is the tension in each of wires supporting the sign?
the sum of the tension of both wires must add up to 325N if both wires are equal distance from the center of sign then the tension on each wire is 325/2=162.5 if the wires are at different distances you need to the distances to get the answer
Q: I am replacing a regular light switch with a more fashionable looking design. When I took out the old light switch there was a red and a black wire attached. I am used to white and black. Which wire is considered the white wire when I am wiring this switch?
never heard of a white wire , but theres only 2 wires , dont think itd matter which way round ,cos its only a breaker
Q: I get how to solder one wire to the inverter, but how do I do multiple wires? Do I connect end-on-end, or all at the same source? I couldn't find a good website for doing multiple wires...
The wires do not have to remain straight. If you need to fold one over and make a loop for the others , that's fine. I would suggest you not solder one wire then try to add the other. Get all the wires connected securely, then solder.
Q: What does the wire do for braces? What happens if you pull it out and everything else it ok?
The wire is what makes braces function. When an orthodontist tightens braces, s/he adjusts the wire or replaces it completely, which causes the teeth to move. Removing the wire ceases the functionality of the braces.
Q: On a seat switch on a poulan mower it has three wires are two of them grounds or one.
One wire comes in hot and goes out hot to the next switch in the series of safety switches this is known as the switched pair, and the other wire is the ground, get a ohm meter and see which wires are paired by pushing the switch while in ohm mode when the meter reads 0 ohms when the switch is pushed those are the switched wires.
Q: I am trying to run a wire from a breaker box to a new plug. To get to the new plug, I have to run the wire over a garage with a finished ceiling, around, through, or over 2 half staircases ( bi level) to get to the unfinished wall to run to the new plug. What would be the proper way to run this wire.
YOU CAN USE 100 AMP WIRE ONLY IF IT HAS A BREAKER AT THE POLE BOX FOR 100 AMPS
Q: when i wire these together the light stays on. help
Should be a switch somewhere, if not you would need to install one.
Q: If I knew which wires went to trim, rpms, engine hours,ect... I could follow them. The engine wiring harnes is stil intact, but I dont know which wire goes to each no matter which end I look at. Like I said wiring is no problem, don't know motors.
trim is dark brown with white trace. tach is gray. why do you need an hour meter? purple is switched power. black is ground. black with yellow trace is kill. yellow with black trace is choke/primer. yellow with red trace is solenoid/starter. now, let me hold a dollar big man.
Q: The question is can i complete a ac circuit if i connect a live from one wire to a neutral from another.
It will conduct, it may also overload and melt the insulation on the wire without tripping a breaker. The purpose of a breaker is safety, one aspect is if a wire isn't large enough to carry the current applied it gets hot. If you have 15 amps from two breakers (on the same leg) the current on the neutral could be double the amount the wire is safe to carry, but the breakers won't sense a problem and may melt the insulation on the wire carrying 30 amps. There are a few instance that a neutral can legally be shared by multiple circuits, many restrictions apply, and conductors from separate romex cables do not satisfy any legal circumstance I can think of.
