- Q: How to clean a silk carpet?
- 1, washing silk carpet, you must do shape preservation, sample preservation, color preservation and maintenance of light, so it can only be dry cleaned. And it can't be washed by dry cleaning. It can only be dry cleaned by hand.2, before washing, to vacuum the carpet on both sides of the cleaning dust really.
- Q: Hotel room white carpet yellowing how to deal with, after washing, there is Huang Ziyin
- Generally use the concentration of 10% ammonia water, 1 copies and 10 parts of water mixed with dilute ammonia water solution soaked, and then dipped in cotton balls, wipe the liquid until clean. After washing, if there are still residual, not washed, then use the concentration of 3% hydrogen peroxide solution wipe, and then rinse with clean water until.
- Q: He's a 1 year old male, and my mom bought a new rug for our bathroom, and he's always peeing on it! I really need to get him to stop because now my mom wants to get rid of him =[ And if it helps, we have another male cat (they're both fixed) that's 8 or 9 years old. Thanks!
- Last year my beautiful Manx cat Theodore went out for the evening and never came back. I love cats and the house didn't feel the same without one, so I picked up Lola from a rescue centre. She was very frightened and would pee all over the house. I found Cat Spraying No More??? on the internet and the techniques worked almost immediately. I haven't had a problem with Lola since. Amazing! Can't stop your cat peeing in the house? Then worry no more...
- Q: has any one had them out to clean your carpet and if so is it worth the money? give me some stories good or bad about them
- Used them many times and they are very reasonably priced. If you aren't moving your furniture (which we didn't) make sure they put everything up on blocks so as not to stain the carpets until they dry. It's a normal procedure for them but they can mess up and your wood or fabric that touches the wet carpet will stain it. When they are done your carpets should only be damp and not wet to the touch. If they are wet don't let them leave until the carpets are only damp. Stanley Steemer is a franchise operation so not all franchises are great. I use them for a whole house cleaning but use my own steam cleaner much more often. I have saved a lot of money by owning my own steam cleaning machine which is a Bissell. I can keep up on carpet cleaning routinely as opposed to waiting until the carpets are in dire need. I would recommend after you use Stanley to buy your own cleaner.
- Q: I live on the 2nd floor of an apartment building. While attempting to do laundry earlier today, I didn't notice that my washer never shut off.. So it kept filling until I noticed my dining room/kitchen room were flooded. I immediately shut the water off. The neighbors below came to my door stating that the water had leaked into their apartment. The question im having is quot;Is it necessary to have the carpet replaced?quot; I have a two year old, and after doing some research I learned that mold could build up, which is something I dont want. Also when the maintenance people came they tracked my carpet with mud and who knows what else when trying to fix my washer. My apartment wont just give me new carpet so Im trying to get some advice in whether or not I should fight for new carpet.
- it is standard practice to dry and then clean carpet that has been soaked with water. but if it is really soaked they need to suck all the water out and then put special carpet drying fans under the carpet. what are they doing ? you did not tell us. and i guess it is their washer supplied with the apt and not yours correct ?

- Hi, okorder /

- Q: I was cleaning my room, and the rug smelled funny so I got some carpet cleaner spray and some water, and scrubbed a large section of it. And that was like 2 days ago!And it still feels soaking wet.I'm scared it might mold. And I'm not sure if my mom is going to get one of those rug cleaner vaccums. And ideas on how I can dry the carpet?
- if you have access to a shop vacuum use it to suck out as much of the moisture as possible KO, here,s what else you can do. wipe the area with a big towel try to pick up as much water /moisture as you can , if you have a space heater place it by the wet area and leave it till rug is dry. no space heater? then place a fan aim it at the wet spot same thing leave it till dry, also i know you must have a hair dryer.you can use it the same way you would if drying your hair you can also rent a commercial fan for drying out wet areas at any rental store ..good luck please don't try to use your vacuum cleaner the water will wipe out the motor.
- Q: The carpet shall be cut, bonded and spliced into a whole piece, which shall be directly paved on the ground without bonding with the ground, and the surrounding shall be trimmed along the corner of the wall. This method is suitable for carpets that often have to be rolled up or the floor of rooms with unusual and heavy loads. Fixed type: cut the carpet, bond and sew it into one piece, and fix it around the floor of the room. Two methods can be adopted: one method is to stick the four sides of the carpet surface with the ground with adhesive or double-sided adhesive tape; On the other hand, we set up wooden card strips with upward nails on the ground around the room, and set the back of the carpet on the small nails with the wooden card strips facing upward.
- Method of carpet joint: 1. Cleaning of base course 2. Cut the carpet 3. Nail barb board 4. Carpet cushion 5. Seam 6. Zhang Ping 7. Fixed carpet 8. Edging 9. Repair carpet surface After these nine steps, the carpet pavement is basically completed.
- Q: I painted my room lime green and purple last weekend, and I got a big splotch of purple on my white carpet, any ideas on how to get it out?Thank you x3
- Often paint on carpet is just on the very tips of the fibers. If this is the case you can just snip the paint off with sharp scissors. Just cut the very tips of the fibers. Work slowly. Don't cut a single millimeter more than you have to and pull up while cutting. This will help prevent divots in the carpet. Try your best to do just one or two fibers at a time...not a whole clump. Dissect any paint clumps first by cutting them in half or thirds, so that you separate clumps. This will work unless you have already used nail polish remover or rubbing alcohol. and have worked the paint into the carpet. Also...cutting paint off carpet will work on shag or plush carpet, but not Berber or loopy carpet. Good luck. -
