Q: I've been wondering about the infamous Crane Stance that many people associate with Martial Arts. Is the Crane Stance a technique that can be used in a fight and strike an opponent effectively without overly exposing yourself to strikes by your opponent? If it is, what are some techniques that can be used out of a Crane Stance?
It's not a stance that would be used in a real fight, on even ground. My teacher's best interpretation for it is if you were fighting an opponent on a set of stairs. If he was below you and attempted to pull one of your feet out from under you, you are drawing your foot back to avoid this. But no, you would never use this in real life (unless it was on the ground in order to get a submission) - it is more of a stance to learn how to balance yourself!
Q: Plus why the symbiot instead of bringing the dark side of the carrier brought the gay and jerk side?
what is with the gay?? Do you have an obsession with men or something?? Are you sure your not the one who is gay? Since when is sensitivity a sign of being gay?? who taught you that? You should really have a talk with yourself about your sexuallity.
Q: I'm researchign for this demonstration speech on origami and uncovered a legen that says in the Japenese custom if you fold 1000paper cranes you are granted a wish. Just wondering, has anyoen ever tried this? and the outcome?I'm goign to do it this weekend!
During my lifetime I have made, perhaps, a thousand origami boulders. Nothing magical came of it. I rather suspect that you'll find yourself using up 1000 sheets of paper and ending up with 1000 paper birds. Have a nice weekend.
Q: What is the scrap standard of tower crane hook?
The hook shall be scrapped at any time in the following circumstances:Crackle; The wear of the dangerous section is 10% of the original size; The opening ratio is increased by 10% than the original size; The twist of the hook is over 10 degrees; The dangerous section of the hook or the neck of the hook produces plastic deformation; The hook thread is corroded; When the hook bushing is worn at 50% of the original size, the bushing shall be replaced; The mandrel shall be replaced when the hook mandrel is worn at 5% of the original size.
Q: I've heard of people making 1000 origami cranes as a wedding gift or decoration. I am making them as a gift for my sister-in-law and her husband, whose new baby is due next month. I'm up to 730, so I need to keep plugging away! My question is how should I display them? I've heard of putting them in a gallon jar. I was also thinking of making strings of 100. Do you put the string through the pointy part on the back? Can I arrange them into a mobile? Any ideas would be appreciated.
it relatively is like asking: once you're making a wish on a taking pictures megastar, will it come real? even although the two are extreme-high quality gestures, no it won't come real. Origami cranes are purely products of paper that are folded to resemble birds; no rely what number you're making, they won't address supernatural expertise inclusive of wish-granting.
Q: The really really tall ones you see next to skyscrapers. How do they assemble them? I thought that maybe they use another crane, but then how did they assemble that crane? Some of them are really, really tall. Try to remember what one looks like. They have long hollow necks with a top section where the driver sits that stretches long horizontally.
Sorry the only information on Cranes here is of the Feathered variety, you have entered the wrong section sorry.
Q: I don't like the crane stock because it looks funny but if you can see the wires when you use a PEQ box I'd prefer a crane stock
If you are looking towards a JG/Echo 1 model, choose the PEQ. The Jg's crane stocks are not compatable with any crane stock battery, however their PEQs are. Having a spare battery is important........ But, if you are not looking towards a JG, then it's up to you. Crane stocks have the balance of a battery in the rear, so your gun is not front heavy, but with PEQs you can see the wiring. If you are worried about damaging your wiring, tape it in electric tape.
Q: What kind of force acting in the brake system which encounter the lifting material force and to maintain its level.
Cranes work using hydraulics and cables. The cables are wrapped around pulleys and the pulley is turned using hydraulic power. The brake system is simply stopping the pulley from turning by reducing power. The hydraulic system typically will turn a series of gears which in turn spins the pulley that the cable is wrapped around. It's different than a brake system say on a car where when you hit the brakes, pads squeeze on the interior of the wheel rim slowing it down. Cranes you just reduce power and stop the pulley from turning. They also have emergency stops. Older cranes have wedges that would be released onto the cable and then the wedges would grab the cable and slip into a ring. The narrow end of the wedges would slip into the ring first and then as the wedges increased in diameter the grip on the cable would get tighter and then stop the cable from moving. They also have systems on the pulleys to stop the pulley from spinning. They essentially work the same way as a car break. When the emergency brake is triggered, pads will squeeze on the rim of the pulley to stop it. These mechanisms work by friction. They could also have holes around the pulley and a steel pin would be pushed into one of the holes to stop it from spinning. Of course if the force of the weight exceeded the strength of the pin, it would shear.
Q: In Batman Begins, what was Dr. Crane/ Scarecrow (Cillian Murphy) after? What did he get in return with working with them and why did he work with them? He doesn't strike me as the kind to work with groups, he seems like a guy who rather work alone.
because they all wanted to f*ck up gotham
Q: I read this book recently and i got emotional over it. It relates so much to my life and i think maybe i know what my dad was thinking before he died. I was just wondering what was your reaction after reading this short story?
Sniff Sniff. 'tears rolling down my cheaks.
