Introduction:
Tower crane is used to lift, lower and horizontally move materials in construction and other industry. It has large lifting capacity and lifting height, wide moving range, and can rotate. It basically consists of base foundation, mast, slewing unit, working jib, counter jib, counterweight, hook, and operating cabin.
Features:
1. High working speed, good speed-adjusting performance, steady operation and high efficiency. Three-speed motor and mono-speed ratio decelerator are applied in the lifting struction, which enables heavy load low speed and light load high speed.
2. The range-change structure drives the dolly to change range on the horizontal arm, with good positioning performance. Planet gear decelerator is applied in the circumgyrating structure, together with moment-limiting hydraulic coupler, which can relize high load capacity, steady starting and reliable operation.
3. The crane has complete set of safety devices, which can guarantee the safe and high efficienct operation of the equipment. The machine is equipped with lifting height limiter, dolly range-change limiter, moment limiter, weight limiter, circumgyrating limiter, etc.
4. The operator's room is set independently on one side, with good vision field. It creates a good working environment for the operator.
5. LVF: Frequency control, variable speed, smoothness and high stability, non-striking.
6. Moment motor, high stability, long working life.
7. SM: Three-speed change pole motor, simple in structure, economical ,fitting.

- Q: Please, if their is a site that shows how to build a crane, provide a link. btw: i do not want to buy some sort of crane building kit. Thanks
- Do you need to build it so it can pick stuff up, cause thats gonna require, magnets and alot of other stuff, that I don't feel like talking about, bye:(
- Q: I have been doing a science projet and i cant find it anywhere
- The wild Whooping Crane flock spends its summers in Wood Buffalo National Park in the Northwest Territories of Canada. They nest and rear their young there. During the fall season, the Whoopers migrate 2,500 miles south to Aransas National Wildlife Refuge in Texas where they spend the winter and early spring. There are currently 193 birds in this flock.
- Q: How the cranes can stand without any tipping with huge counter weights on its back? If there is no suspended load also the crane is is still stable with huge counter weights on its back. How it can possible? Why crane is not offballencing while we adding extra counter weights on it without any suspended load?
- Usually the counterweights can move back and forth on an arm. They are moved toward the crane when there is no load and away from the crane when there is a load. If the counterweights can't move, then the crane must be designed to hold (at least) the minimum counterweights in their fixed location. As the crane gets loaded, the net moment decreases, and then increases in the other direction as more and more load gets added. It is still likely that the maximum design moment when loaded far exceeds the moment due to the counterweights on an unloaded crane.
- Q: I was wondering if Steam Cranes are still used to clear train derailments or are the all mothballed now? What do they use to clear derailments now days if the not the Steam Cranes? Also way are there 2 types of hooks on the crane anyway? Thanks
- They started to go by the wayside in the early 80's around here, though they were still in use until technology caught up and they could manufacture a 200 ton capacity crane for use on the highways. They had Hi-rail equipment and could get to the scene of a derailment much quicker than the old steam derricks. Near the end, I know there were at least 5 still operating, but the problem was, there were only two guys on the system that could run one of the things. Steam is the key word. We're all used to seeing crane operators running the machine from their little cab and moving the levers that control the hydraulics. But, it was amazing to see a guy run one of the Bucyrus Erie 200 ton derricks. All the functions were controlled by various valves that were scattered around the operators position, and it was like watching some kind of choreography; ballet, even. The sights, smells and sounds of the thing in action were no less eye catching than watching the operator himself.
- Q: i am looking for the schematic wiring diagram for GANTRY CRANE AC GENERATOR. thanks a lot
- it sounds like you want to run a gantry crane with a generator the generator should have a wire diagram in side the cover. the gantry crane should have the power requirements on the electric motor there should be a tag on the motor. If you are not sure then you need to get an electrician out there to look at the two components and should be able to get you straight
- Q: I'm into urban exploration and basically the one thing I haven't done is climb a crane. I don't actually know where one is that I could climb, but I definitely will do it someday. I'm just wondering how illegal it would be? Also, don't give me any it's not safe bull, I'm perfectly confident in my abilities and ready to accept the consequences if I get caught.
- Here comes Chuck again with his everlasting wisdom. Heres Chuck:Climbing a crane is illegal. I love guns, and law and order!! My politics lean to the right. blah blah blah. Climbing a crane would be AWESOME. You should do it. videotape it, and post it on youtube for all to see.
- Q: Can paper crane symbolise your love for a girl?
- i did get 3 paper roses from a guy last weekend-was very much a nice gesture-so YES. And i am going to date the guy-so gl
- Q: What Japanese counter word is used for multiple origami objects...such as 1000 cranes?
- 1,000 cranes is counted using the bird counter (there's one specifically for birds or rabbits) so it's sen-ba-tsuru. It would depend on what you've made in origami. The most general counter would probably be -ko. one origami work ikko two niko three sanko four yonko five goko six rokko seven nanako eight hakko nine kyuuko ten jikko I think you could use it for almost anything that you could make in origami, though, (like senbatsuru) there could be a more specific counter to use depending on what you made, but there are so many counter words. If it's something flat, or you wanted to count origami paper, then it's -mai If it's a long slender work of origami -hon
- Q: ?? Please star my ? i will give you points!
- Although I haven't seen it done I imagine that especially for very high cranes it's done most often with cables and winches (utilizing a pivot point at the bottom of the structure). For many lower cranes such as those found on vehicles hydraulic lifting is sufficient.
- Q: I read a book a year ago about sadako sasaki who tried to make all 1000 paper cranes to live. Do you have to keep saying your wish over again when your making them, and when you finished making all 1000 how long did you wait until your wish came true??
- you make your wish once your done cause you only get the wish if you have 1000 cranes right so saying your wish when you only have 6 won't do anything. it can come true the next day till the next year or ten years it not something definite. I've never made 1000 but I think I will.
