- Q: I have two Polk mm571 speakers 15-90 rms, 2.7 ohms, and 200w max
- Rockford Fosgate Punch 400-Watt Multi-Channel Amplifier is a excellent amp. rockford test's every amp they sell and record the numbers then put them in the box with the amp. The P4004 is rated at 50 watts x 4 at 4 ohms, the one i recieved was shown to put out 93 watts x 4 at 4 ohms. this amp is extremely quiet, you hear nothing when in between songs. the P4004 is combined with an Alpine CDA 9885 reciever, a beautiful combo. the rockford really impressed me, I highly recomend it.
- Q: 2 speakers on the door. on the front right door one of the two speakers is very low in volume meaning the music is coming out of the speaker but at a low volume compared with the rest. it even occurs at high volumes. it is an infinity kappa series speaker installed about 2 years ago and i highly doubt it is blown because it still works (maybe loose contact?)im planning to replace the amp i have which is 60Wx4 soundstream pcx360 into a 150Wx4 alpine pdx1.600 soon and was wondering if this might fix the problemim willing to buy another set of kappa series speakers but prefer not to because getting the door panel on/off my car is a pain in da ***.solutions anyone?
- The speaker could be on it's way out, but usually you'll hear distortion. You could have an issue with the wires going to the speaker, but it's most likely a loose rca cable or a bad channel on the amp or head-unit. The most cost efficient move here is to remove the door panel and inspect the speaker and connectors. Good luck.

- Depending on their power (WATT value) the electricity consumption is low or high. You can read on the back side of speakers to find how much electricity use (WATT value). But for normal speakers it is not high. more info about WATT:

- id look for more speaker inputs in your headunit. but make sure your old speakers can handle the same wattage and ohms as your new ones. if your headunit doesnt have more speaker outputs then you could also wire your old speakers to the new speakers, but this will make them quieter and i just dont suggest doing it. it could cause damage

- get a multimeter. check the speakers, check the wires, check the head unit, try the fade adjustment? fade to rear will set only the rear speakers to on. if thats the problem tell all your friends it was a wire problem ;-) if your car has a built in amplifier which i'm assuming it does because with 6 speakers that would be considered 'premium sound' check that in my 96 mercury grand marquis i had to yank out the factory amp because it interfered with my stereo and wouldn't allow signal to pass through it take your time and remember it will work in the end as long as you're patient

- I don't know what you are referring to when you say box speakers. Sounds like you're talking about subwoofers. If so, you'll need an amp. If they are boxed 6x9s or something, you can just hook them up with the original wiring, if the impedance is corrct, but why would you want to? Just replace all the door speakers with aftermarket ones. The only way you'll get more power, regardless of what speakers, though, is with an amplifier. That is where power comes from, not the speakers themselves.

- Q: I just got a 2010 mazda 3 sedan 4 speaker non boss version. I would like to upgrade the front speakers but I need to know the size. My friend can get me a good deal but I have to 100% be sure know the size because there is no returns. I have been told the front speakers are 6.5 and keep finding different sizes on sites but I flashed a light into the speaker grill and it looks like an oval shape. If anyone can 100% tell me the size thanks.
- The true speaker size in the front doors are 5 1/4 speakers, as well as the rear doors. 6.5 speakers could fit, but would need an adapter to fit properly, but then you have to worry about the door panel not fitting on properly due to the speaker.
- Q: I have 10 speakers that all have the same wattage output and I turn them all at the same volume level. If I add 10 more (now I would have 20 speakers) of the same wattage on top of each speaker, does that make it louder? Or does the placement of the speakers make it seem louder? There are no speakers behind me either. Its all in front. No subwoofers.Know this, I already know the answer, I just need a seriously in depth answer as to why.
- If all the speakers are connected to one amplifier, adding speakers does not make it louder because the power will be divided between the speakers evenly. If the added speakers are connected to their own amp, then the system would be louder. This question is like opening a can of worms because there are so many unknowns. In general: more speakers WITH more amplification louder more speakers WITHOUT additional amplification same volume
