- i would buy one. my daughter is 4 months old and we bought both a bouncer and a swing. the swing is still great for getting her to sleep when she's really tired. when she was about 10 weeks she would get really gassy and fussy at night and i would have to jump around and bounce her for hours at a time some nights.. the bouncer chair was a godsend because i could just sit on the couch and bounce her with my foot and she was satisfied :) they're not expensive at all either. we got ours for $20 brand new.. had a wind-up mobile too! we're still using it to this day and she can bounce herself now :)

- Q: I live in a large apartment complex which has large private pool for residents. Most of the people in the pool are kids. There is always one lifeguard on duty. There is a 6 foot high lifeguard chair, but the lifeguards all refuse to use it even though it is in excellent condition and allows them to see all corners of the pool from high up. The lifeguards sit on a lawn chair next to the side of the pool, about 7 feet from the pool. When the pool is full of rambunctious kids, it is impossible for the lifeguard to see all the kids from that angle.Can someone give me an official definition of the purpose of an elevated lifeguard chair so that I can file a formal complaint and have this matter dealt with so the kids are safe. - yes, its a good idea.. this is particularly important at a one-lifeguard facility where an elevated stand provides a much better view of patron activities than the view you have from a deck-level lifeguard station

- I'm sorry to hear about the leg problems... I have sciatica, so I also cannot sit in lotus position any more. But it's really no problem as far as the ability to meditate goes. Really, any position which is relatively comfortable but not conductive to falling asleep will be fine... especially if you are already skillful at meditating.
