Properties:
Manganese is an important alloying agent. It is added to improve the strength, toughness, stiffness, hardness, wear resistance, and hardenability of steels. Together with aluminum and antimony, especially in the presence of copper, it forms highly ferromagnetic alloys. Manganese dioxide is used as a depolarizer in dry cells and as a decolorizing agent for glass that has been colored green due to iron impurities. The dioxide is also used in drying black paints and in the preparation of oxygen and chlorine. Manganese colors glass an amethyst color and is the coloring agent in natural amethyst. The permanganate is used as an oxidizing agent and is useful for qualitative analysis and in medicine. Manganese is an important trace element in nutrition, although exposure to the element is toxic in higher quantities.
Introduction
Electrolytic manganese metal flake is with silver gray metallic luster, hard and crisp, melting point 1245, boilling point 1962, with strong oxidation-reduction capacity. Specific gravity is 7.2. In comparison with metal manganese made by elctric warming, the electrogenerated mental manganese is of higher purity, superior quality and wider application.

Those are the classics and they are just AWESOME, so start off with them! Some other pretty good bands: Cannibal Corpse Arch Enemy Killswitch Engage Racer X Necrophagist The black dahlia murder Protest the hero Dream Theater Symphony X The last 3 are more of a progessive metal, but you still might enjoy it. - All metals, really. It's more a question of size, and the region of space where the metal piece cuts the lines of flux. To a metal detector, a thin loop of metal (like many belt buckles) is just as big as a solid hunk of metal covering the same area. Get a belt with a small buckle, of whatever metal. I'll suggest that you wear a MedicAlert bracelet, with a leather or fabric band, instead of a metal necklace.
