Properties:
Manganese has a melting point of 1245oC,specific gravity of 7.2.Ordinary manganese is a hard and brittle gray-white metal .It is chemically reactive and slowly decompose cold water. Manganese metal is ferromagnetic after special treatment.
Introduction
Electrolytic manganese metal flake is with silver gray metallic luster, hard and crisp, melting point 1245, boilling point 1962, with strong oxidation-reduction capacity. Specific gravity is 7.2. In comparison with metal manganese made by elctric warming, the electrogenerated mental manganese is of higher purity, superior quality and wider application.
Application
It is mainly used in steel-making, special steel-making, non-ferrous alloy (A-Mn alloy, Ti-Mn alloy, Mg-Mn alloy). It is also widely applied in chemical industry, electron undustry, medicine, aerospace, medicine. Also it is used in the high performance soft magnetization ferrite, high magnetic permeability ferrite, high saturated magnetic induction density low cost ferrite, high stable low cost ferrite.

- True metal is any style of metal that has significantly ties to traditional heavy metal. True metal includes traditional heavy metal, thrash, death, black, doom, progressive, power, folk, etc. Nu metal, metalcore, and deathcore are not metal. The problem with genres like nu metal is that it takes minimal elements from heavy metal and its derivatives, most of its influences come out of grunge and other styles, among them industrial and rap. As for metalcore/deathcore, punk and its derivatives are not metal when you add too much punk to metal it ceases to be metal and vice versa, there are very few metalcore bands that have a mix of metal and punk in such a ratio that it can actually be considered metal.

- Technically (or by the book) as a genre by themselves, no. When mixed with Extreme Metal type genres yes. There are a few bands that have these characteristics like the Power/Death of Into Eternity, Mercenary and Unleash The Archers and Progressive Black Metal of Ne Obliviscaris. Check 'em out. Personally I hate the term of 'Extreme Metal' because it really means nothing, kinda like Nu Metal which is a group of genres that music critics either don't want to take the time to put a name to their style with any sort of accuracy or too lazy to. It's the let's just throw a band in this genre and done with it mentality. Metal has been mish-mashing for more than 40 years in an extreme genre that bands strive to be different from one another. To call one Metal band extreme and not another is separated by mere degrees and really not worthy of my time to worry about.

There are many types of heavy music out there. There's hard rock, hardcore, industrial, etc. Metal is just one of those many types of heavy music. It wasn't the first, it's not even the most popular, some would claim it's not even the heaviest, but it has become the most iconic so a lot of people will call any sort of heavy rock metal.

But that is only to remove the 'impurities' and doesn't change the makeup of the metal itself. Many metals (especially steel) are also combined with other materials to make them stronger, or give them other desired properties.
