- I love it. The only reason why people dislike it is because it is not a generally accepted form of music. So in other words they hate it because everybody else hates it. If you notice, everyone who hates Hair Metal always says that they like Motley Crue. I don't see what makes Motley Crue any different from any other hair bands.They like them because they see that their fellow idiots accept them. If Warrant was the accepted band, then people would love them and call Motley Crue gay. People are just afraid to admit they like it because they will not be tr00 if they do. BQ: Ratt. - That's really silly. I don't know where you live but I see black metal and punk fans all the time. Just go out to a regular metal show and look around. I know punk and metal are not the same thing, but I just saw two different punk bands with black lead singers LAST WEEK. Last night I was talking to a half-black girl with a green 'fro at an industrial show. Just like there are white hip hop fans. It's 2012...this really isn't that uncommon anymore. As noted by the person who mentioned Living Colour (they did that song Cult of Personality), it's never really been that uncommon. Slash, from Guns and Roses is half-black. There have been black punks since the beginning of punk. There are black goths (or perhaps I should say goth-inspired, in their case), like the singer for O Children...plenty of examples. Also, black people in my neighborhood who aren't metal fans AT ALL come over to our house all the time, even if we're really rocking out loud. I don't know if it's just because my town is a college town, but everyone's pretty cool about blending music scenes. I certainly have listened to more underground rap in the past couple of years than I ever have before. Besides, does it really matter? It's about music, after all, not race...I mean, unless you accidentally end up at a white pride metal show...try not to do that. :(

Thrash bands are speed metal...moterhead is a cross of punk and metal..they the frist to do it...lots of punk bqnds did this too...suicidal tendencies followed in moterheads foot steps.. All these bands play with speed...but all in different genres of metal Punk/harecore Minor threat Sex pistols Dead kennedys Black flag The ramones These are punk and harecore bands play with speed... All these bands fall into what they call speed metal....when you see judas preist as speed metal...its not so...heavy metal is the real genre ..also black sabbath ...deep purple..and iron butterfly are also considered the frist heavy metal to speed metal bands...

- Well, that would be hydrogen gas. When a metal reacts with water hydrogen is always produced. Also, depending on the reacting metal a hydroxide or an oxide is produced. When you look at the electrochemical series of metals then the first metals, the active ones (Li - Mg/Al), form a hydroxide when reacting with water. For example: 2Na + 2H2O -> 2NaOH + H2. Metals from Mn to Fe form an oxide (when heated - water must be in a vapourised state). For example: Zn + H2O -> ZnO + H2. Metals starting from Ni don't react with water. I wrote Mg/Al when talking about active metals because normally the surface of aluminium is protected by its oxide and therefore the reaction doesn't take place very easily. However, if the oxide is removed then aluminium and water react very well and produce a hydroxide. I hope that helps! Have a nice day!

- oh I agree soo much. I do like soad and Slipknot BUT i don't consider them more metal than Sabbath and Slayer..Nowhere near it! Slayer is like one of the top metal gods. Slipknot is just a subordinate for that god.
