Q: so, i'm curious if the metal in Los Angeles is the same as any other place. I'm mexican. The majority: black metal, thrash, heavy?? Your ethnic?Location?are head bangers alive? Or Metal fans dead?
sure I guess, I mean power metal is more likely to have keyboards than any other genre and Equilibrium has loads of keyboards... But you don't have to worry about the genres so much, it's just a loose guide for helping you find music, you don't need to categorize everything, and that actually takes the fun out of it anyway, can't you just listen to music and enjoy it without worrying about the category? Equilibrium are a pretty unique band as well, I don't expect it would be easy to categorize them correctly. or It's folk metal, black metal and power metal rolled up into one, and then they added 500 tonnes of melody and AWESOMENESS. That's their genre.
Q: Like if I glue a small metal piece to another small metal piece... Will it stay pretty good and be strong?
non metal
Q: What are three metals, three semi-metals and three non metals?
Heavy metal!
Q: Back in the day when I had Play Station 1, I had Twisted Metal 1 and Twisted Metal 2 which were good. Now I got a PS3 and might want to buy Twisted Metal 3,4, and Black. But I heard 1 of those games hella sucked. Has anybody played the last 3 Twisted Metal games?
Haha you don't have to be religious to hate all that screaming. I just don't like death metal, because it doesn't sound like music to me. I like meaningful lyrics that I can understand with melodies or at least good beats. Death metal has neither.
Q: is deathgrind, goregrind, porngrind and another grind music are metal
Magnesium is in group 2 of the periodic table and forms stable Mg2+ ions by losing electrons. (Metals form positive ions) Magnesium reacts with oxygen to give a BASIC oxide MgO (Metal oxides are bases) Magnesium is MALLEABLE (Bends and can be hammered to shape), shiny when fresh cut, conducts heat and electricity. (all metal properties) Magnesium reacts with dilute acids to produce a SALT and HYDROGEN gas (reactive metals do this) These should be enough to be going on with
Q: cool metal like electric wizard or jesu. Not angry like death metal
Dying Fetus, Kataklysm, Hypocrisy, Amon Amarth, etc...
Q: between metals and non metals?
Power metal: Fantasy based metal genre that usually tells a story or a meaning in a song. In my opinion, Power metal sings more about warrior killing the dragon/medieval folklore and has more of an uplifting beat to the story it's portraying. The song Phantom lord does sing about that kind of topic, but the rhythm itself doesn't have anything to do with the power metal genre. here the battle roar, louder then before, with your sword in hand, you'll control the land those lyrics are what I'm guessing gave you the impression that it was power metal related. but, it's not. would it be an influence........ yeah I guess you could say that. Early thrash metal bands would have an influence on power metal bands such as Riot in the late years and I would say even iron maiden even though iron maiden isn't thrash metal was a bigger influence, since they had albums dedicated to a certain topics that power metal would be based on. Powerslave for example! but besides thrash metal... Black metal would be a huge influence as well. Why? because, black metal usually revolves around a more satanic/Demonic topic which has a lot to do with power metal topics. An example of this would be Angra - Unholy wars or Edguy - Mysteria. I hope this helps. and to answer your other questions: Q: Cronos of venom said he considers venom in the genre of power metal do you agree? A: well... songs such as bloodlust or cry wolf would sound like a power metal type of song but, no. I wouldn't consider Venom power metal at all. Q:Was king diamond an influence on power metal vocalists? A: YES! King diamond has an amazing ability to tell whats going on with multiple people at once in one song, and tell a story at the same time. An example would be King diamond - Am I evil or King diamond - Abigail album. Keep on truckin brother. m/
Q: eh... that sounds weird and I'm having trouble wording it out.... glam/ hair metal= metal?or are they two totally different types of music?
- DC's Metal Men, six robots, or meta-robots really: Gold, Iron, Platinum, Lead, Mercury and Tin. They aren't really robots, but rather the metals themselves given intelligence. They can always be remade because their respective metals will of course alwa
Q: BQ: How is it different from traditional heavy metal?
nicely i can in basic terms answer the 6th one it would could be saved in petroleum to maintain it removed from moisture...because of the fact it wud react with water and whilst it reacts it would reason dorobium(g)
Q: Any grand metal bands, that are active, and would fit these particular genres: deathcore, death metal, groove metal, metalcore, nu metal, thrash metal. I'll comment on best answer????. Headbanger's roll!
The best era of metal is anything pre 90's. When they started a form of music known as rap metal, when there was nothing metal about it. Many bands in the 90's and beyond used the label Metal to try and distinguish themselves. But the true fans of metal saw through the B.S. Don't get me wrong, there are some good metal acts that came out around the 90's. But... My Vote is the 70's. The reason being, is that it was in a fairly early stage, and generally untarnished by the likes of the sensationalism and commercialism it faces today, and if it were not for the bands that helped define and create the genre, there would BE no metal.
