- Q: Is it safe to never wash your cast iron skillet besides wiping it down? Also, what is the best kind of cast iron skillet and where can I find one?
- It is totally safe to just wipe down your cast-iron skillet. The oil residue from whatever you cooked will season the pan and make it act like it's nonstick. Just make sure you wipe it well. If you want to give it a scrub in the sink, just DON'T use soap. Soap will strip the oils out of your pan and make your food stick to it next time. If you do use soap, or scrub it after using, you can season it again by heating a little peanut or vegetable oil in it for a few minutes on low heat, then pouring the oil out and wiping the excess off. You can find a basic cast iron skillet at Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Department stores, basically anywhere you buy cookware. I don't know about the best. They're all about the same. One more tip: don't let it stay wet after washing. Put it on low heat on the stove for a few seconds until it dries out. Or wipe it down with a paper towel. Otherwise it might rust. I was also told not to cook anything too acidic, like tomatoes in it, but can't remember why.
- Q: I‘m changing irons soon and going to blades. I hit my old irons pretty well and now need to gain some accuracy. Which of the game enhancement irons should i get? (For example MP-62, MP-68, MP-58)Also, are the MP-57 and MP-60 cavity backs?
- Most of the irons you mentioned are better player's irons. The MP-52 and MP-58 are the most forgiving out of the ones you mentioned. The MP-57 is a cavity back iron designed for the 0-12 handicapper. The MP-60 has a blade look at address, but isn't a muscle-back iron. They're in the same category as the MP-57 as far as the sort of player than should play those irons. I'd look at the MX-200 or MX-300 if you're looking for more forgiveness. Either is forged like the other irons, but provide more forgiveness.
- Q: I hear people say that but how? A flat iron straightens your hair.
- You can't really do that. You can get a little flip, like you're saying, but not a full curl. Try flipping it like you are, and putting some hair spray right before and right after, and it might hold up better. For a real curl, just go spend like $10 or $20 somewhere like Target, or Walgreens, etc for a curling iron, which will be better.
- Q: The Iron Man is not really made out of iron scientifically. How do we know that he isn't really made out of iron?
- Well being that this is a comic book character rules out real life issues with design. Iron Man was first seen in 1963 and his first suit was Iron but in Steel form giving it the grey color it had. Steel was the only product he had to use due to his imprisonment. Later on in the series you get the common red-and-golden weapon platform which was more than likely not made of steel.
- Q: I have to take 325mgs 3 times a day due to low iron. What can i expect?
- CONSTIPATION That's the same amount I take for my anemia. I take it once a day, now, but 3 times a day during my pregnancies. I take a stool softner everyday when it gets increased. Also, poop gets really really dark. I don't know how common this is, but I began to taste metal (I had an aftertaste of the iron) well after I took the tablets.
- Q: is iron a good conductor
- 1) metal - YES 2) heat - YES
- Q: My iron level is 9.34. Is that ok? Or is that extremely deficient?
- Very low. Correct it quickly. I used to take treatment from a popular trichologist in Bangalore and he would he tell me that anything lower than 50 in males and 20 in females will cause hair fall and baldiness. take iron supplements and take vitamin c along with that. He would tell me to take one tablet of each together after breakfast everyday. But be careful of getting constipated due to iron.
- Q: What‘s iron from?
- if you have a low hemoglobin count ask your doctor. iron is a natural occuring mineral
- Q: Alright I'm doing a project on electrolysis and as much as I try i just don't understand it.My anode cathode are both IronMy solution is Fe(No3)2 which is Iron (II) NitrateI need to talk about what happens and why the mass of the anode decreases but the mass of the cathode increases.I've got some crazy theory but i don't know if its correct or not so if anyone could clarfiy that would be great.Thankyou so much! :)
- Anode: Oxidation Iron becomes Iron(II) it dissolves in water, so the Anode loses mass. Cathode: Reduction Iron(II) becomes Iron and accumulates itself at the Cathode which gains mass. Oxidation means to dispense electrons, this electrons are transported through a wire to the Cathode. At the Cathode electrons are given to Iron(II) that were dissolved in water. If it is is still unclear i can try to explain it better
