- You can iron them. Low heat is key. If you have yet to wash the curtains be sure to either air dry them or use low heat in the dryer. If they get too hot during laundering you will have a tough time getting them to appear wrinkle-free. The pressing cloth is a good idea when ironing the curtain panels. If you decide that you just don't want to deal with the process (especially if they are very large panels) have them professionally cleaned and pressed. Good luck!
