Q: Who has owned and recommends Electrolux vacuum cleaners?: I bought a Guardian Aerus Electrolux. The Electrolux at Sears is a Fancy Kenmore with the Electrolux label. The true Electrolux has to have the Aerus Logo. Check with dealers. At first I loved mine but then it started losing suction. I had it serviced but it was never the same. I would recommend the SEBO it is a hospital grade vacuum and I like it SOOO much better! I have three kids with allergies and a dog... I had to have a good vacuum and I have owned Kirbie's, Electrolux, Stand up traded it up right away, for the Guardian, after a few years hated it it was bulky and lost suction, traded up for a Sebo and WOW I love it... And it is a stand up. But the suction is just as good as a canister.. Usually Canisters have more suction.... My mother also loves her Sebo and she has 4 dogs. We are corky and one day bored we argued over who had the better vacuum... Needless to say she won... I used the Guardian and then she went over the same spot with the Sebo and I was impressed on how much stuff she was able to pick up!!!

On the other hand i was terrified and kinda still am of those street cleaning things with the round yellow brushes. I have no ideA why. I don't know it it's because I think that I might somehow get sucked up or what.

Q: I would like to use a Dyson floor tool with my central vacuum system. The system uses a hose with a 1 1/4diameter attachement port. Does anyone know what the inside diameter of a Dyson floor attachment tool is? Or if it will ft a standard vacuum hose?: the Tools from my DC 17 DO fit 1.25 vac hoses but honestly if you are looking for a hard floor tool there are much better ones for cheaper than the Dyson, I would go to your nearest vacuum store and ask about a horsehair floor brush most of them should have one try to get one with a castle cut brush meaning it has small gaps between the brush in the front this will aid in picking up larger particles. If you do decide to go for the dyson one just make sure it's not a canister accesory i know the DC 11s tools are different and don't fit 1.25 hoses

Q: I'm really confused i have a dry vaccum cleaner there is filters inside to protect the dirt entering in to the motor , so i'm thinking of a wet so how this work when water enters the motor does it damage? or it is working like a water pump? if so how the suction all work ?: Shop Vac type vacuum cleaners are made to suck dry or wet, the filter is modified manually for either dry or wet vacumming. All you need to know is that they work. Have owned several over the years.

Q: thee is so much talk about kirby vacuum cleaners ,are they that good?anyway i want to test one and looking for one to purchase onlinewhere can i look?: We bought a used '94 Kirby in 1996. We paid $400. for it. I like the powerful suction, but it also comes with drawbacks. The following are my opinions about this Kirby: 1. I don't like the cost of replacing the filters (they're about $8. a bag and only have 3 bags in a package. 2. It's not easy to change from vacuum to using the hose. 3. It's kind of heavy and bulky and doesn't maneuver easily. In my opinion, it's not worth it. You can purchase a bagless Dyson for around $500. and they work great. Does the $1800. price include all of the attachments? Do you need all those attachments? Are all the bells whistles worth $1800.?

Q: Are there any full-size vaccum cleaners that are battery operated, rather than dragging around that long cord?: There are such vacuum cleaners generally used for gardens or lawns.
