- Q: i know what they are and what they look like, but how do you give someone one?and how long do they last?and why do people like them'?
- vacuum cleaners give the best ones.
- Q: thank you..are the y functioning well?
- Well they are not as powerful as big vacuum cleaners but they are worth buying.
- Q: Why do vacuum cleaners have lights on the front, do they expect you to vacuum at night?
- It makes it easier to see things that you maybe are not supposed to suck up, for example pins or thread that can hurt your vacuum.
- Q: For a school project, I need to know the most common and annoying problems that you people are facing with vacuum cleaners. Try to be creative and just write whatever comes to your mind. Thanks ppl :D
- I've had several... Hair gets in the brush attachments of the cleaning tools The belt somehow gets twisted Loose dust and dirt clings to the opening of the bag so when you change the bad, it kinda poofs in the air or falls back on the floor The vacuum runs over its own cord (well..it doesn't just run over its own cord...obviously...but the cord gets in the way) My old hoover vacuum used to always get stuff trapped in the flexible hose and I had to use a coat hanger to pry it back out Sometimes they smell odd when in use...like old dust or something.
- Q: I remember reading an interesting quote a while back about the advent of vacuum cleaners (which I think represented modern technology). It basically stated that before vacuum cleaners work was done by hand, and when vacuums were invented the work was done two times faster but because of the dust given off by the vacuum vacuuming had to be done twice as frequently as the manual way of cleaning. Does anyone know the quote in its entirety?
- Nothing sucks like an Electrolux.
- Q: How much did he earn last week if his sales totaled $3200?
- .08 X 3200 + 200
- Q: the problem of human and animals living together and the solution
- Vacuum cleaners and lint rollers help with all the shedding.
- Q: One of my dogs loves it.. I just vacuumed him for about 10 minutes.. he was in heaven! My other two are afraid of the vacuum... lol
- My one Mastiff LOVES the vacume cleaner he runs to me and insists i run the hose with a funiture brush over him. He sits still and just drools he is so happy and when i stop he keeps nudging me to keep going. The other mastiff the female likes it when i vacume her but is not as silly to watch as the male is.. he is in love with the vacume down his back. I have never heard of a dog neing hurt by the vacume action..lol LMAO. Allot of pet groomers use a vacume brush on dogs, along with the blow dryers so if the dog is use to being groomed then they have no reason to fear the vacume. It sucks up the lose hair that would other wise shed from them. We used to have a golden retreiver that also loved it. And both my long hair cats have liked it. It is all in how they are treated while use of it and how it is used..as a scare tactic or as a grooming.
- Q: Which make of vacuum is better for it's money?
- Definitely the Rainbow, The Kirby used Bags which even though it uses Hepa Filtered bags, it still leaves dust behind. I know because I own the newest one right now. and in the process of getting a Rainbow. My parents had a Rainbow and I got so used to using the Rainbow that when I got the Kirby thinking it was better Vacuum I quickly found out that it was not. I get burning eyes and nose from the the air that it blows out. Also, it you were to vacuum over a wet spot you would need to quickly change the bag, cause mold grows in the bag and leaves a horrible smell. I have kids, who are constantly spilling things on my carpet so that's my problem. But when using the attachments on the Kirby they easily come apart while using them so they get stuck under beds and furniture where you have to crawl under to fish them out. Also when using it as a shampooer, you immediately have to change the bag and it leaves your carpet very wet. and doesn't do a good shampoo job. Rainbow is so, so, so much worth the cost. No paying $16 a month on bags just dump the water out. I am in the process of getting a Rainbow and dumping my Kirby!
- Q: My Hoover Wind Tunnel canister vacuum cleaner, which I purchased less than two years ago, bit the dust. I took it in to the authorized Hoover repair shoppe, and it will cost more to fix the darn thing than what I paid for it (well over 230 bucks). I bought it because Consumer Reports recommended it. It worked great (when it worked) but I had to take it in to repair the latch which kept the head on the wand and that cost and now this. I read up on the internet and find all sorts of complaints about Hoover, that it is no longer the company that it used to be (since it sold out to Maytag). My question is, what is a great vacuum cleaner that will not break the bank and will last more than two years? I have a dog, four kids with a stay-at-home mother so it needs to be durable, powerful, non-dust emitting, etc. Thank you very much for your input, especially personal experience with what has worked for you. God bless.
