Q: What is the best lightweight vacuum cleaner for use in a home with pets? I am willing to spend up to $300.: Dysons are great, but a little pricey. Hoover makes one with a great attachment that hooks on to the hose. It's a rotating spin brush and it works awesome on furniture (and great for cars) to get all the hair off. It is lightweight and works great. All the filters are washable and it is bag-less.I can not remember what Hoover named it but it is a deep red, with the spin attachment (you'll know what I'm talking about as soon as you see it) I payed about $130 for mine and got it right at Wal-mart. It's worth trying, Wal-mart is pretty good about taking stuff back if you feel it didn't work properly for your needs. I think you keep it though.

Q: Have you ever run over your OWN toe with the front of the vacuum cleaner?: it's the vacuum after my toe!

Q: Can other cleaners be used in rug doctor cleaning vacuum?: yes. i used to use oxy clean in mine but then i started using the walmart's version of Bissell cleaner and it works great!

Q: I have just a small apartment and need to get a small vacuum cleaner. But something that has good suction, and won't be useless after 5 uses. A few years ago, I bought a Bissell quot;stickvacuum cleaner and it was a waste. It barely picked up dirt from a floor, let alone a carpet. Any good suggestion will be appreciated.: Try a Shark Rocket (model HV300). I have one and it does a good job at cleaning carpets and hard floors!

Q: is there a name for fear of vaccum cleaners? because I KNOW i have it! ever since i was an infant i would screem frickin bloody murder in my crib when my mom would run teh vacuum cleaner. when i was jsut a small child i would run from it, afraid it would suck up my toes. and now, today, at 14, i cannot STAND the loud noise they make and i do NOT put my toes in front of one. it takes me a few moments before i can even bring myself to turn it on. the bigger, louder they are, the worse my reactions. sometimes at work (i volunteer at a veterinary hospital) i have to ask one of my co-workers to do it because i will purposly busy myself just to get away from it.please, do not laugh at me. it's embarrassing enough and i just want to know the name of it.thankxx! :]: no name?
