- Q:How old do you think is old enough to use a vacuum cleaner?
- Whatever age they can push it around. They don't have to do a superb job - just praise whatever they do! We bought a new vacuum where you can see the dust go inside it - my 8 year old loves it! He especially loves the clink when it sucks up a big crumb or something. However, I would caution that you want to teach them to clear the area of toys and other small objects that might break the vacuum, before starting.
- Q:How to repair the vibration lever of vacuum cleaner?
- When checking the vibration lever, the vacuum cleaner should be turned upside down. The vibration lever will appear at the front end of the housing
- Q:Are Roomba's good vacuum cleaners?
- My latest one is more heavy duty then the first. Gee two Yes I love it. Simple enough to run it every day and definitely better to clean daily then haul out the Big vacuum once a week. Glides from carpet to wood floor to area rugs and ceramic tiles easily. It does tend to chew up the fringe on rugs so I just got rid of those. Love it and would not do without. Picks up gravel, cheerios, dust and tumbleweeds if need be
- Q:My dog sheds year round, but even more so in the summertime. I've gone through several vacuum cleaners that work at first, then stop altogether. I dismantle the hose and clean out the hairs if they clog but I can't get adequate. What could be wrong? Can you recommend a vac that really picks up pet hair effectively?
- I gotta love my Dyson! It is SO easy to see clogs in the clear hose. Any part that curves has a quick detach to check. It sucks great and picks the hair up no problem. No bags to buy and it really does not loose suction. I have had mine for six years now and am just as happy today as I was when I bought it.
- Q:The vacuum cleaner is a Toshiba brand (VC-702EX). I tried checking the local hardware shops but I can't find it anywhere. They are only selling filters for new models of vacuum cleaners. I can't even find the local Toshiba distributor here.
- You okorder , but try asking the hardware store to special order a case for you. They normally have a special order department.
- Q:Can anyone please help me! I am soooo serious here...I have purchased two vacuum cleaners and they both SUCK. Bissel allergy one with the canister that you empty...It does not vacuum well at all, I can pick up stuff off the carpets better that the that. And then I bought a eureka vacuum from costco, not only is it hard to push, 4 months the screw came off the handle and is in the vaccum itself.....It is supposed to be industrial, and it is with a bag....and NEVER ever have I seen such scrap....I have new carpets so that is not the problem here...I also have pets....I do not want a tyson 3000 or whatever they are called...although they say they are good, and after what I have spent in these 2 vacuums I should have bought the tyson...So any suggestions or what you like would be appreciated...I am just fed up with picking up JUNK :PThanks you all..
- i have had all different vacuums the one i have is the best i have ever had, oreck,it has great suction and very light weight i have upright and the cylander they are easy push pic dog hair up and get right into the pile to both great i have had it years but they still sell them,i also kept my old dyson the dco1 because all the other dysons seem to go wrong, the handles break the motor dosnt last 2 minutes you dont hve that problem with o1,but i would definitly recomend the oreck good luck hope you get sorted
- Q:Where are DYSON vacuum cleaners made?
- James Dyson set up the Dyson company. In June 1993, he opened a research centre and factory in Wiltshire. Initially, all Dyson vacuum cleaners and washing machines were made in Malmesbury, Wiltshire, England. In 2002, the company transferred vacuum cleaner production to Malaysia. As Dyson was the only major manufacturer in Wiltshire, this move aroused much heated condemnation in the British press. Despite promises that washing machine production would continue in the UK, that portion of production was moved to Malaysia a year later. Nearly 800 British manufacturing jobs were lost; however, Dyson's research and development (and the resultant technical jobs) remains in Wiltshire.
- Q:I live in a townhouse area that is only separated from the other houses by walls. Almost everyday I hear my neighbour's vacuum cleaner for about 30 minutes at a time. I know that nobody could have carpets dirty enough to require that much vacuuming. I just hope it is nothing sexual. What do you all think?
- Hmmm I've known guys who were very VERY fond of their vacuum cleaners. I imagine that would be kinda painful though? :-S
- Q:I've been looking for a central vacuum and I've found a selection on here - - do you know if they're cheap or will I get them cheaper somewhere else?
- buy cheap you'll regret it the rest of your life-go for the best...
- Q:How electrolux differ from any other vacuum cleaner and what are the unique features?
- The best vacuum is the one you will use. I had my mother's 1960 canister vacuum, and it was a pain to store and use, so I didn't use it. I bought an upright Electrolux, and it was heavy and I had to get my husband to carry it up and down stairs. I've had an Oreck, and I've had several Hoover's. Right now I have 2 Eureka Optimas--one for upstairs and one for down. They are identical and bagless. I use one or the other almost every day. Easy to store, lightweight and easy to use. Save your money; buy something lightweight, bagless, and with a 12 amp motor. Good Luck!
