Features:
1. High intensity: is 2 times than pure copper wire that is if the tensile strength.
of pure copper wire is about 215 to 265, then CCS can reach 430 to 530.
2. Light weight: lighter 13% than pure copper wire. Under the same wire size and
weight, its length is 1.13 times than that of pure copper wire. So buying 1 ton.
CCS wire is the same as buying 1.13 tons' pure copper wire.
3. Saving cost: CCS wire price is just 35% of that of pure copper wire.
and its appearance quality is the same with pure copper wire.
4. Reducing greatly the production cost while guaranteeing the same quality as well
as pure copper wire.
Main Properties:
Good corrosion resistance of copper
High tensile strength of steel
Resistance against
Decreased electrical resisitance compared to steel
Much lower impedance at high frequencies than that of steel wire alone
Application:
1,Inner conductor of terminal CATV coaxial cable
2,Conductive cord of user communication cable for double conductor telephones .
3,Plug-ins for electronic components .
4,Conductive cord of field wires .
5,Overhead system for power transmission and telephone lines .
6,Overhead-contact systems for railway and Light Rail Transit .
7,Braided shield wire of power cable .
8,Earthing pole for electrical power industry .
- Q: Hi, my old laptop has broken: when i try to put the power cable into the socket on the laptop, it only goes in on a certain angle and never stays there even when taped, so its impossible to get the laptop on for more than a few seconds. I've tried different power cables too, and nothing seems to work, so it must be the actual laptop problem... how can I get the laptop to stay on to retrieve some photos that I have got on there? Thanks
- I would remove the hard drive.Take the hard drive and your new computer to an electronics store and buy a USB crossover adapter plug. That should allow you to hook the old hard drive to your new computer. It would be like have an external hard drive. I did it a few years ago. I was told recently that the newer computers are not compatable that way. Also, if you have different operating systems the new computer may not be able to read the old hard drive. The other option is to have the power supply socket repaired. Some small independant repair shops can fix the problem relatively easy and cheap.
- Q: There have been severe storms in my country Kenya and power lines have fallen and caused a lot of injuries, some fatal to pedestrians, motorists and others.I am sure if power lines were covered with rubber sheathing or some other apopropriatde material, there would be less likelihood of electrocution, serious injury, fire or property damage. I am a lay person in these matters so I am talking from what I have seen. Thanks in advance.
- Let's see... First of all ONLY high voltage power cables do not have protective polymer insulation. Low voltage cables, like the ones that bring outlet tension to homes do have an insulation, usually made of PVC, rubber, silicone and such. The large, 10000Volts, up to and over 200000 volts and so on do not for several reasons: 1. It would be impractical to make. For usual materials, like PVC the thickness of the insulation would be extreme (I think as thick as several centimeters) as to protect from such high voltages. Such insulations would make the cables break under their own weight. 2. The cables heat up really good under the enormous currents and voltages so the insulation plastic would be close to melting point all the time. 3. PVC is quite senzitive to weather curing. It becomes brittle and cracks if left under weather condition for several years so the insulation would still serve to no good. Furthermore, regulations regarding aerial wiring state that they should avoid crossing populated areas, roads, etc. unless absolutely necessary. Also, wires fallen on ground should definitely not be messed with. Furthermore, if high voltage cables were insulated, this would only serve ready made combustion materials for fires in case of short circuits and damages. I guess this takes care of your question...
- Q: I'm gonna build a pc, the graphics card is an XFX Radeon 6970 and the power supply is a cooler master 750w. Im new to this and I dont want to buy a cable online and have it be the wrong one
- If you are asking this, don't build a pc, keep learning on google and youtube. You dont need a special cable, it comes with the power supple, and the cables are for extra power for the graphics chip (pci express slot cannot supply enough power so it needs those cables to supplement it)
- Q: Hi, Im building a computer and my Power supply dosent have enough Cables/wires for all the slots. We do have enough to fill one motherboard power slot and we also have enough to fill about a hal of one. Can my computer run with just half of one of the slots? Also, my computer's Graphics card, a Gigabyte GV-N560UD-1GI nVidia GeForce 560 Ti, has two power slots, and the wires that it comes with have 2 4 pin peripheral power cables brnching off of it. My power supply only has enough to fill 1 of the cables. My dad says it will be fine but i dunno. Please awnser quickly! Any awnsers will be much a preiciated
- for the GTX560 Ti Here is what your APEVIA ATX-TL450W 450 Watts has: Those are for your motherboard: 1 x Main connector (20Pin / 24 Pin) 1 x 12V(4Pin) Those are for SATA and Molex HDD, DVD 3 x peripheral (aka Molex 4 pin) 1 x SATA Plus 1 x Floppy which no one uses anymore Your only solution would be to buy a newer, better power supply, which is what I recommend. Or, as a compromise (not recommended, as your power is not big enough for all components). Use 2 Molex to PCI-e cable adapters to power your graphics card. Use 1 Molex to SATA to power your DVD drive Use the only SATA to power your hard drive. Good luck.
- Q: I need to resolve a debate- is there a power/telephone line under the sea running between the UK and USA? Or is the communication just done by satellite?
- Satellite lol If there was a cable some kind of fish or something would of cut it by now.
- Q: I've been looking online for some but can't seem to find some sync cables to strap these amps together. Anyone know where I can find them?
- You can use a PS2 male to male cable....kind of like you could use telephone cords from radio shack for the bd remote gain control. $2...plus you'll need a little bit of 8GA wire to tie the amps' outputs together. One gets set to 0 degrees, one gets set to 180 degrees, your gains MUST MATCH, don't do this with power applied anywhere as you'd likely smoke a voice coil. Please know what you are doing, bridging amps is not forgiving and remember each amp is now seeing 1/2 the load, so you could have stability problems if your wired at 2ohms now.
- Q: I just bought a new computer, a DELL Inspiron 530. It has none of the older 4-pin power cables from the power supply; only the newer SATA power devices. I have an older hard drive, that connects via IDE cables (the gray ribbon). Ive already bought the card that converts the IDE to SATA, and it is connected to the mother board. Here is the problem: the IDE Hard Drive is powered with the 4-pin power supply that Ive seen on EVERY power supply before this one. The IDE to SATA converter came with an extension for that 4-pin power supply. But the power supply in the tower DOESNT HAVE ANY 4-PIN POWER ADAPTERS. It has one free SATA power. Im looking to take the SATA power from my power supply, convert it to the old-style IDE 4-pin power supply (female) and plug it into the 4-pin extension (male) that powers my hard drive and SATA-IDE converter. Most converters go the other way... Please post links with examples of parts, since I cannot find anything that lets me do what I am looking to

- Q: What are the advantages and disadvantages of separating 28Vdc, 200A positive power cables and returns into two different harnesses?
- WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ? ALL DC POWER SOURCE REQUIRES TWO SEPARATED CABLES .
- Q: I'm using macbook air,and the charger is plugged into it,the battery is full right now,so where is the power source from when it's running?Battery or directly from cable?
- I see power cable that is direct power. Mac book charges its laptop battery while working like other laptop as well. As Apple applies some distinctive technologies, they have their own standard in some fields. Then is there anything special to maintain Mac book battery? The key point to extend the battery on laptop's life is quite simple and easy. Most users expect that their battery can be used as long as it can. Mac book users bad habit indirectly result in short battery life no matter the Mac book battery or other common batteries. The following illustrations are obvious to show you how to achieve it. Once you start your Mac book, press the dimming button to lower the screen brightness. Then check the ongoing programs. These operating programs consume a lot power. The next step is to adjust energy saver options. Otherwise, you Mac book will use up the battery power once you leave it idle. More over, CD-driver is another big consumer of laptop battery power. Take out of the CD from the drive if you have no special use.
- Q: im selling just the brick power cable. Is 50 dollars a good price?
- most people who have a xbox, have a power bar, 50$ is way to much like above i would go for 15-30 30$ if you are lucky
