- There are options for refinishing chairs. You can strip down the wood and restain and finish it yourself. You can enlist the help of a professional, or do a Google search for DIY. I, personally, love an eclectic look. But, the chair actually clashes just a bit with the rest of the color scheme. Refinishing it would probably be a good idea.
- Q:I am getting married this October and I'm having my reception in a banquet hall...it's very nice and of course they provide white tableclothes for their round tables but their chairs are like an ugly pinkish color...I'm wanting to get some white chair covers to cover them up and make it look more elegant. The banquet hall recommended a place that they use and I guess the people come out and steam the covers on the chairs so they aren't wrinkled and they have a display out at the hotel we are having the reception at and they are really nice but they are $6 a chair cover and I'm having over 200 guests at my wedding and I don't want to be spending that kind of money on just chair covers. Just wanted to know if any of you have ever ordered chair covers online that you can rent? I found a website where you can rent them and they are only like $1 or $2 for each chair cover, but I hate to order them and they come and are are really wrinkled and don't even look nice...any of you done this?
- Ok what I would do is ONLY cover the bridal parties chairs with chair covers (the 6 buck ones). Then go out to a fabric store and buy a bunch of white nice fabric or white large ribbion and tie a bow around each chair of the other guests. Like take a large long piece of fabric and wrap it from the front of the back of the chair to the back of the chair and tie a pretty bow. Some of the chair will be exposed but you are covering the tops up, which is what people will notice.
- Q:These chairs are supposedly good for the back. Does anyone have one and what do you think about it?
- You could buy a GOOD Lane or LaZBoy and spend 1/3 the money.... They are stylish /minimalist but they are sure Hiding the cushioning.... Do you think your butt could handle HOURS of that chair? And do you think your butt CARES how stylish it is? They may say it's good for the back, but anyone can say that...and without PROOF I would NOT believe anything they or anybody else says.... Show me a Zero Chair Showroom where I can go and SIT on a Zero Chair....then let me sit for an hour while I read the Sunday paper....And get me a cup of coffee while I sit here reading my Sunday paper... And stop trying to Sell me on the chair while I'm reading ! My Back and Butt NEED silence to think ! That's the best way to know for sure...and get that salesman to give you some space to think....

- Use a little Vasoline and a wood mallet or wood between wheel and a hammer.
- Q:Any suggestions for a good potty training chair? I've heard it recommended to buy a doll that goes potty to help the child learn to go potty. Has that been helpful to anyone? Is that worth the money?
- Just use a seat that goes over the toilet. They have to learn to go on two things instead of one if you go the potty chair route.

- People don't care about your feelings. They just plop themselves down so hard it really hurts sometimes. What is really gross is when they set down nude and they didn't take a shower that day. To make it even worse they wiggle around and throw their legs over my arm...ouch...... Sometimes they put one leg on one arm and the other leg over the opposite arm...Then I have to close my eyes, Horrible doesn't ever touch what I can see then. Being a chair isn't easy, believe me. I am so sad, if they put me at the curb no one would take me. There are so many stains on me, oxy wouldn't recognize them. I deserved better than this. I'm just going to sit in the CORNER.

- Go tell your boss that your chair got broken and that you need a new one, and when he asks how it got broken just tell him that when he set in it, that it cracked and broke. You can`t make him pay for something that was out of his control. and I do believe that it wasn't`t his department that let him break the chair. It just happened. You can`t discriminate against people of size as you put it just because they weigh more than you. Hello you do that he could have you butt in court and any lawyer would be happy to take you on, they would also use this post against you. So just go tell your boss you need a new chair and suggest that he provide the company with chairs that can handle more than you.
