Q: I broke another bracket on my braces and I need to know a nontoxic way to reattach it MYSELF. I can't go to the orthodontist cause I broke so many that they charge $30 for every emergency appointment and are getting very mad. I need help before my tooth starts moving!!Thanks and God bless!
i dont think it would be safe to do it yourself. you should definetly go to the orthodontist
Q: A few days ago I was brushing my teeth and one of my brackets broke off. I'm really scared because I don't want my parents to have to pay for a new one. They already pay for so much. I have a orthodontist appointment today, Can they put the old one back on? It's still on the wire, its just lose and it flips around. I don't think I ate anything forbidden. Do you have any advise?
It's pretty rare for an orthodontist to charge for broken brackets unless it becomes a habitual problem. They can recondition the bracket and rebond in most cases. If not, they can place a new bracket. It depends on the condition of the bracket. It's not always an instance of eating something forbidden to knock one off. It can also be do to how you occlude (bite touches). It's definitely not the end of the world so don't fret. It will all be ok. It is good that you are concerned for your part in your treatment and trying to save absorbent costs for your parents. It shows a lot of maturity and responsibility. Good for you! :o) I hope this helps! Good luck to you! :o)
Q: i was playing with the bracket and my nail slipped and chipped something.i think it was the glue? and now its loosehow do i explain this to my mean orthodontist.next week.?
Just tell him the truth or tell him that you don't know what happened. Brackets can loosen over time. You shouldn't be intimidated by your orthodontist. He gets paid a lot of money to work to help you.
Q: are you saposto floss around ur brackets and i try to floss in between my teeth and they are so tight that it hurts should i still floss
you still have to floss when you have braces and the more you do it the less it hurts. Becuase i had braces and everytime i went they told me off cos i didnt floss! then as soon as i started flossing the next time i got them off :D and flossing will decrese ugly red puffy gums! xx
Q: I need to know within like 3 hours for an algebra regents.
I just saw this question, sorry it wasn't in time for the Regents. [ ] -- Those symbols mean including or Greater than or EQUAL to, or Less than or EQUAL to. ( ) --- Those mean not including or Greater than or Less than Example: In interval notation, 1 x 5 would be written like (1, 5]
Q: A couple of weeks ago I had been babysitting and accidentely eaten a hard candy which my the the bracket on the right side of mouth on my molar come off.i can understand that but it does not have a wire on it and it did not come off until morning soooo? then i woke up this morning and the other sides bracket came off and i swear that i didn't do anything to mess it upi had a chewy browny and pizza that was squishy and the crust wasnt hardfor lunch i had fries and chickenand i didn't have breakfastfurthermorei had tested each one b4 i went to bed to make sure they were on securely and i was not rough on them eitherWHAT'S GOING ON?!! also do orthodontists make you pay for bracket replacement?
Sometimes the brackets have a hard time staying on the teeth because of saliva contamination at the time of placement. The adhesion might have been weak and it didn't take much to knock them off. Yes, tooth grinding could dislodge them if there was contact between the opposing tooth and the bracket when you bite down. I would return to the orthodontist and have them fuse the bracket back on. I don't think there will be a charge especially if it didn't happen before (or too often).
Q: i heard a noise coming from my bottom bracket. but only noticeable when i am really putting some torque into the crank at a high gear. other wise it is not there. it almost sounds like the bearings are really rubbing in the cups. i took the bearings out and re greased them with a water proof grease and it is still there. i also cleaned the pedal bearings and re greased them as well. this bike only has about 200 miles on it and i bought it about 3 months ago. could it be that the bearings are bad, just crap. or could it be something else. this bike is a 220 dollar mongoose. please help.
This question comes up enough that answers should pop up as you are typing the question. It is probably NOT your bottom bracket. What else do you put stress on when you pedal hard? Your handlebars and stem! Remove the stem from the steerer- lubricate and reinstall with the correct torque. Loosen and retighten the handlebars to the correct torque. Test. Since frame tubes are, well, tubes, they telegraph sound. Since most tubes meet at the bottom bracket thats where the most noise collects.
Q: For instance. I earn around $20,000/year and I'm in the 13% tax bracket. Which tax bracket woulf I fall under if I were to make the following:$30,000$40,000$50,000$60,000$70,000$80,000$90,000$100,000$150,000THANKS!!!
To add to the answers above, its important to remember that tax brackets are not applied to your gross wages. The tax brackets are instead applied to taxable income. Taxable income includes all the deductions to which you may be entitled on your tax return, so there is no real way to correctly answer your question.
Q: As I'm getting older I'm seeing the ways of tax shelters and for this year I'd like to be within the 15% tax bracket.I'm married filing joint. The 15% tax bracket is capped at $68,000. Let's say that our gross combined income is $85,000. If we contribute $10,000 to pre-tax 401k's and another $8000 in Roth IRA's, would we be in the 15% tax bracket for the year? Another situation, lets say that at the end of 2010, we estimate to be just inside the 25% tax bracket, would it be worth it to make a last minute contribution to a IRA or something, to drop within the 15% bracket?
One GOOD way to lower your yearly taxes is to file a property TAX GRIEVANCE with your local assessor. There is a company that provides an appraisal and populates the forms for you to give to your assessor. Homeowners using the Good Grievance approach have saved thousands. It does help to lower your tax bills for the year in addition to your income taxes. Good Luck
Q: I am planning a cutthroat billiards tournament, but cannot find a bracket suitable for the event. Our tournament will be once a week for 6 weeks. Also, we don't always have the same number of people each week. Does anyone have an idea?
Just make your own bracket with exponents of 3. It would go like this: .1 .2---------------------2-------- .3----3----33----3----3 444.444.444.444.444.444.444.444. The problem with having a tournament for a game with 3 players is that you cannot have a game with only two players mixed in, so the number of players always must be divisible by 3. So you HAVE to have 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, etc number of players, and any extra must sit out. It's kind of a silly game to use for a tournament because of this, and the fact that the game is easy for good players (break and runs are super easy, second runs are even easier), and people will claim they got cheated because they never even got to shoot. BTW, like all brackets, if you use the one above and don't have 27 players, you just make one game a bye. Just make sure if there are more than one bye that you evenly distribute them among all of the brackets. EDIT: Craig, Cutthroat is a 3 player game, you can't use traditional brackets.
