Q: I saw on the new IRS tax brackets that a cut off is 1392. My bi-weekly income is about 1455 (counting overtime).but after the pre-tax stuff such as health care and 401k, my taxable income shows as about 1377. So if 1392 serves as the cut off between 15% and 25%, where would I fall in?
Your actual tax bracket when you file your return is based on your taxable income. Your bracket for withholding is based on a combination of your gross income (minus any pretax deductions) for the pay period and what you put on your W-4 - that combination gives an estimate of what your eventual bracket will be, if you filled out your W-4 accurately. If your overtime is spread reasonably evenly over the year, the deductions will probably be correct or close. But if some pay periods you have a huge number of overtime hours, and others have little or none, they might take out too much - then you'd get the extra refunded when you file.
Q: Ca(OH)2 + HNO3 --- CA(NO3)2 + H20It is the brackets that are confusing me, do they mean there are two calciums?Help it greatly appreciated
The subscript number outside the brackets only applies to what is in the brackets. So, Ca(OH)2 means there is one Ca ion bonded with two OH ions. Therefore in Ca(OH)2 there is one Ca atom, two oxygen atoms, and two hydrogen atoms. In balancing the equation you get: Ca(OH)2 + 2HNO3 --Ca(NO3)2 + 2H2O General tip: When balancing equations, ignoring oxygen until the end can make it easier.
Q: I can't figure out what kind of bottom bracket i need. The shell threading seems to be English (right-side cup is reverse-threaded), but the width is 70mm. English brackets only come in 68 and 73mm? The inner diameter is 34.6mm
Not true. Bottom brackets on most recreational bikes are 68mm or 73mm. But almost all bikes that were made for ROAD riding in the older days were 70mm wide. So you have measured correctly. Be careful, though. Italian threading is different than what we now call Japanese International Standard (JIS). And French can be different again. Your old axle should have a number and a letter stamped onto it. The number should be 5 designating a 70mm wide BBshell and then the letter designates the specific style of your axle. With those bits of info you should be able to purchase another BB. I recommend visiting a good quality bike store for more info about this stuff and they can tell you whether you need a special BB or just a standard 70mm one. And watch out too if your cranks say either Maxi or Stronglite. Both of those cranks had different taper angles than standard BB axles and will require a special axle again. YIPES! good luck
Q: BracesI'm not sure if it is because my orthodontist is incompetent (because my sister had her once, which then led her to break something of her braces) or if the glue keeping my brackets together is weak, or for whatever reason. I am not eating anything that could make it pop off, and I'm not DOING anything that can make it pop off. i.e., I cut my food, don't eat anything hard, etc.
eat HARD
Q: I pay roughly $8K per year in child care expenses. My family consists of just my five year old son and myself. I own a house and pay $610 a month for my mortgage---about 450 goes towards interest; the other towards principal. Can I subtract those things from my income? The reason why I'm asking is because I was thinking about picking up a part-time job during evenings in the fall. I would make about $600 extra per month. Now, I'm thinking that it might be better if I don't work so that I can stay in the 15% tax bracket. I have some stock, but I won't sell this year if I can stay in the 15% tax bracket. I would have no other gains/profits this year, other than my income.Ideas??? Suggestions??
Although your regular gross salary puts you slightly in the 25% tax bracket, your expenses drop you down below into the 15% bracket. Remember that the tax brackets change only at the margin, in other words, you pay the 15% up to the change in brackets and then 25% on the amount over the margin (change line). Also, even assuming you were in the 25% before the part time job, would the extra $60 a month you would be paying in taxes be enough of a deterrent to not work (you would pay $90 in the 15% bracket and $150 in the 25%). Also, don't forget to count in the property tax deduction on your house,
Q: If the last bracket on your brace breaks does this effect treatment? I was watching a YouTube video that said they were just hollow tubes with nothing inside to hold the wire. Surely if the bracket does not hold the wire it shouldn't slow down treatment. I was just wondering this considering I have just broken my bracket :p
It shouldn't affect treatment but it can be uncomfortable so is best fixed soon.
Q: I have a felt 9 80 18 inch mountain bike and i just bent my bottom bracket. I go on the felt website and all they tell me is that its a sealed bracket. What size do i need?
Pull the bracket the model number and the size will be printed on it. Edit: If you don't have the tools you cant replace it anyway.
Q: I already had one replaced a few weeks ago. Now the bottom two front teeth bracketts are basically off. (the wire is holding them in.) i have no clue what to do.
they will just glue them back onthey dont replace them, they just scrape the glue off the teeth that they are going back on and the reput them on
Q: for example, if it was 8(5-3x4/6) i have to simplify the number inside the bracket. do i do it from left to right, or do i do the multiplication and division before the subtracting?
always do it in oder of operations, even inside brackets. Using P.E.M.D.A.S
Q: I just had an appointment this Monday in which they gave me a new wire and prescribed me with new, tighter rubber bands(Impalas). During track practice today, the brackets on my molar came loose. When I say loose, I mean I can move them up and down with small effort. So, my question is is if this is a big deal, and if i will be able to wait for a couple days to get it fixed(It's Friday, so the office was closed when I called in, so I'm going to have to wait until Monday). I was also wondering if the bracket becoming loose is a result of me eating outside of the list of recommended foods or if it could possibly be the new strength of the bands I'm wearing pull on the bracket(Which could possibly be losing it's cement).I do understand this question has probably been asked many times but since I have a tendency to worry about things, here I am making my own question. Thank you. :D
the suited subject to do is to objective utilising the wax and get in touch with your orthodontist. I used to have braces so i understand that the soreness and the insides of your mouth getting ripped up isn't unusual. If the soreness is insufferable then you definitely ought to fairly ought to work out the orthodontist, in any different case i'm particular you would be high-quality. additionally, considering the fact which you have basically had your braces for 5 days; your mouth is merely being used on your braces. In time the insides of your mouth will style callouses and get used to the braces and then it wont experience so undesirable. good success.
