- Q: i have 3 loose brackets and my dentist told me that she'll fix it on my next appointment that happens to be next month. I feel so uncomfortable of it but it doesn't hurt me, i just feel a discomfort on my jaw, she told me to take pain reliever but i think i don't need that 'cause it is not painful.would that affect the development of my teeth? is it okay for a bracket to stay loose for a month?
- It is not okay to have loose brackets, for a longer period of time because it will delays the treatment or rather the treatment will stop there, until the brackets will rebond or cemented back again. But don't worry as your dentist told you that she will fix it on your next appointment. With only just a matter of weeks of loose brackets, your teeth will not move to worse. But not longer like six months or years. If it is possible try to talk to your dentist and tell her the discomfort that you feel on your jaw, and tell her that you cannot bear it because it bothers you.
- Q: I just got my braces last May 24, and since then, 6 brackets have already fallen off! This is really annoying me cause I haven't eaten anything hard since I didn't want anymore falling off. I came fron the dentist today, and had 3 brackets replaced. I really don't wanna go back, so does anyone know what I should do? I've already avoided juices, hard meat, fish, etc. all i've been eating were vegetables, and soup. Please help me. :( x
- It may not be what you are eating but instead how you are eating it. If when you chew, one of your teeth touches against one of the brackets, this could put strain on the glue that holds them on. If this happens over and over again, the bond between the glue and your tooth may be weakened so much that it falls off. Ask your orthodontist about why this is happening and whether the frequency of them falling off is becoming a problem. It may be the way that they are sticking them on. But if if continues to happen very often, your orthodontist may feel they have no choice but to remove your braces if they are falling off so often that no further progress can be made with your teeth. Hope this helps :)
- Q: I want a blank bracket that I can fill out as the selections are made.
- why don't you just get a copy that is made out for you?
- Q: Hi. I am going to remove the headboard and foot board of my bed to be able to fit it on the other side of the room to achieve more space. However, as stated, it wont be able to have any legs on it to hold it upenter my dilemma. I have heard that you can get such a thing as brackets that will enable you to attach the bed to the wall without having to use legs to hold it up and it will hold it there securely. When I have looked them up, typing in 'wall mountable bed brackets' nothing comes up. Am I saying the wrong thing? I dont know what they're called, or if they exist or where even to find them now. Where could I find these 'bed brackets' or something similar to hold my bed up without having to use its legs.
- I haven't seen any brackets designed to hold a bed in the free floating type design. There are for shelves but they do not usually hold much weight and a bed sticks out much further and not only needs it weight supported but that of any occupant and possibly two. This poses some problems as the brackets would have to be large, heavy and fastened to the floor and wall. Now options for you. Cheapest is a metal bed frame that has 4 legs but all are under the bed frame and not sticking out anywhere. Go to bedding stores, Sears whatever or even second hand furniture stores get one for $20. It is 2 rails that go along the side of a box spring and the cross members at each end slide together so it is adjustable for different sizes, many have rollers so you can move the bed if necessary (for cleaning under it, changing sheets etc). Otherwise you need to attach the bed frame to the wall (use the wall studs to attach to) and then either a cable attachment to the ends of the frame on the outer corners going up and attaching to the wall near the ceiling to provide support for the other side of the bed or two legs to support the outside part of the frame but under the edge rather than outside the frame.
- Q: I'm getting ready to purchase a flash bracket for my Canon Digital Rebel XT. I was wondering if I have to purchase the TTL Sync Cord to go with it. Thanks!
- Yes. A bracket is just a holder. An overpriced holder if you ask me. So you will need to get a sync cable to go with it. But to be on the safe side, ask before you buy it. You'll never no, they might have incorporated a sync cable into the bracket.
- Q: Hey i have to expand some brackets. i forgot how to do it and i need to know. so could you talk me through this first one then i can do the rest?(x+6)(x-8)Thanks
- Expanding brackets in math is simply multiplying all expressions inside the bracket with the variable or coefficient outside. For example: 3x(5 + 3y) 2 To expand the brackets, simply multiply 3x with each of the expressions inside, always keeping in mind the sign of the answer (negative/positive) Step 1: (3x * 5) + (3x * 3y) 2 Step 2: 15x + 9xy 2
- Q: i have a set of shimano saint cranks m800 but idk the size of bottom bracket i need. i know the arm lengths are 170mm but idk what size bb to get. how do i measure the cranks? i found cranks like mine that said 83mm and 73mm and 63mm but idk what ones mine are! i measured the spindle width and it said either 7/8 or 15/16 of an inch. i have a 2007 or 2008 demo II so i think it is a 73mm shell

- Q: i heard a noise coming from my bottom bracket. but only noticeable when i am really putting some torque into the crank at a high gear. other wise it is not there. it almost sounds like the bearings are really rubbing in the cups. i took the bearings out and re greased them with a water proof grease and it is still there. i also cleaned the pedal bearings and re greased them as well. this bike only has about 200 miles on it and i bought it about 3 months ago. could it be that the bearings are bad, just crap. or could it be something else. this bike is a 220 dollar mongoose. please help.
- Try readjusting the cups, it may require a fine touch and several attempts. There shouldn't be any pitting yet. You can get better quality balls for a minimal cost. Or else replace the whole bottom bracket. The bike is junk to begin with, real bikes start at twice that price and up, yet, you could make it last if you invest extra time and cash on maintenance. Don't feel too bad, you are just one in 15,000,000 americans (75% out of 20 million bikes sold) that bought a piece of junk.
- Q: Aesthetics for shelf brackets Aesthetics for shelf brackets Aesthetics for shelf brackets Aesthetics for shelf brackets
- Floating shelves are one of the nicest ways - the brackets are completely concealed with the shelf held on prongs. Other than that - it largely depends what you want to put on them - how adjustable you need them to be and what materils you want to use.
- Q: i was thinking of doing an nba playoff bracket at work. any ideas on the best scoring system to avoid ties? i was thinking of picking teams and series. for example, team A will be team Band the series will be 4-2. what do u think?
- do an NBA bracket and have them declare winners and what the series will be the person that lists the best series of accuracy ex 4-2 4-1 etc if there is tie have them pick the finals MVP and if there still is a tie have them pick the lead scorer and how much they think he will average in the finals
