Q: so im lost in how i should wire my subs. I have two subs that i need to wire both are 2 ohms 400 watts i don't know if i should wire them parallel or series if you can help me out that would be great!: usually all sub wiring is the same, youll have the rca cables and antenna wire comming from the radio to the amp, power and ground wire going from amp to battery and ground, and than should have 2 wires coming off each sub to the amp, im guessing thatd be parallel, if you wire in series, so like use 2 wires and splice off to each sub, so 2 wires off the amp powering each sub you would up the ohms and put a too much of a load on the amp, people only wire in series when they have too many subs and not enough outlets on the amp, good luck

Q: I have two ceiling lights in my kitchen that come into the same wiring box (light switch). It's a single light switch that controls both lights. I want to install a two fixture light switch so that I can turn on each light by itself. It looks like there are only two wires coming into the box...a black one and a white one (and a ground wire). The two-switch I bought is requiring three wires though. How do I wire this thing?: You need a new cable from the light switch to the fixture and between the fixtures. Since you are in doubt about how and what to do this i suggest you hire a qualified professional electrician to do the work. Q: My boat came with a rule 500 2-wire auto pump. I have an on/off switch at the console. My replacement has 3 wires. How do I connect the 3 wires and still use my on/off switch?: Good after I used to be within the navy, electrical energy was once three phase. There was once no original. Considering the fact that its is a pump, my recommendation is disconnecting the pump out of your load. Go ahead and wire up your pump inserting the 3 wires on any terminal. If the pump rotates in reverse, stop the power and swtch any 2 wires and you are good to move.

Q: i have a 97 chevy blazer. My fuel pump went so i purchased a new one. i did not know that the company changed the wiring on the fuel pump..all the wires are 2gether in the wiring harness and all i have to do is cut off the old harnss and wire the new one in its place. Im not sure exactly how to wire it. What do I do? do i just strip wires and twist them or what?: trace down old wires from pump / sending unit there will be one wire that goes to both the pump and sending unit....... that is ground ....mark old wires before cutting ....... then hook to same on new pump
