Galvanized barbed wire types and specification
Barbed wire is used for various security fencing and barriers. It can be laid directly on the ground, mounted on the top of fence or in rows as an independent barrier. To prevent corrosion, barbed wire has a zinc coating. The barbed wire consists of barb wire and line wire. The wire diameter of line wire is larger. The line wire can have one wire or two wires. The barb wires are braided with a system of constant torsion around line wire. One barb wire forms two spikes and two pieces of wire-four spikes. The sharpened spikes are protective elements of barbed wire.
Using the two twisted line wires can improve the quality of fastening studs and prevent the displacement along the wire. On a single strand barbed wire, in order to avoid spikes rotate around horizontal wire, the horizontal wire is made by corrugations and its cross section is not circular.
Hot dipped galvanized barbed wire specification:
Zinc surface density: (the more zinc, the corrosion resistance is stronger. )
Horizontal line wire/ barb wire (g/m2): 80/60, 114/85, 175/147, 260/240.
Galvanized single strand barbed wire size:
Made of l line wire with 4 spikes, spaced at a distance of 70mm - 120 mm
Horizontal line wire diameter 2.8 mm
Barb wire diameter 2.0 mm
Number of spikes 4
Packed in coils: 25-45kg/coil, or 100m, 500m/coil
Galvanized barbed wire with double strand size:
Made of 2 twisted line wires with 4 spikes, spikes spaced at a distance of 75mm - 100 mm
Horizontal wire barbed wire diameter 2.5 mm/1.70mm
Spikes wire diameter 2.0 mm/1.50mm
Strength of horizontal line wire: Min. 1150 N/mm2
Strength of barb wire: 700/900 N/mm2
Stranded wire breaking load: Min. 4230 N
Packed in coils: 20-50kg/coil or 50m 400m/coil
Note: Our galvanized barbed wire is all hot dipped galvanized. IN addition hot galvanized, galvanized has another type - electro galvanized. Electro galvanized has less zinc - zinc on the surface of the barbed wire up to 10 g/m2. Barbed wire with electro galvanized will begin to rust in a year. We manufacture only barbed wire with hot dipped galvanized.

- Q: What is the best brand of wire to use for getting power to my amp?
- Need info on the amp to make that call. ONe thing is for sure monster cable is a huge rip off and 10 gauge wire is not thick enough for an amp power cable. For around 800 watts or less 8 gauge will be good enough. The thicker the wire the better the performance. Almost all wire is essentially the same, its the gauge that is important. (0 is thickest, 10 thinner, 20 even thinner etc.) Good Luck
- Q: i recently replaced my spark plug wires on my 97' lincoln continental. i was wondering if i should get plug wire shielding for them also......thanx
- If it needed wire shielding it would have come with it from the factory. If you get OEM style plug wires then it will come with shielding as well, hence OEM, if not then it didn't come with them and doesn't need them.
- Q: I am doing wiring in my shed on preexisting light fixtures and outlets. the wiring that was disconnect from that carried the electricity to it. What I am trying to do is have all the light fixtures work of an extension cord. I have another extension wire connected to that with the +, - and 0 showing. The fixtures have 3 wires coming out of them what I think to be the power in, power out, and switch. On the fixture on the end I connected my extension cord thing and it work, BUT only that one. The rest of the fixtures did not work, I do see anything wrong. What I thought was that I was connecting to the switch wire so I changed it and it just buzzed with blue light. What is going on?
- the rest of your light fixtures maybe wired through a switch. you would have to hook your extension cord to the switch but you also need to connect the common neutrals and grounds to the cord as well.
- Q: I keep thinking that the wire would cut into the bark when the bonsai is growing.I want to wire it now because it is easily manipulative, but I don't want to prevent trunk growth
- Wire it, let it grow a bit. Then, as necessary, undo the wire, then rewire it to fit the new size. An alternative is to append weights, or tie strings to other objects or parts of the plant instead of wiring a whole branch.
- Q: What method can be used to detect residual impurities and metal particles on the wire surface?
- Remove the metal surface oxide, refers to the removal of the metal itself has been oxidized surface, such as: rust, skin and other materials that originally belong to the material itself.
- Q: So, I purchased a motion sensor light switch to replace the regular switches at my new condo. I have the wires exposed and I've identified the hot wire. My only problem is the hot wire (from inside the wall) is a single thick copper prong, whereas the wire for the motion sensor is split into like 15 different small copper wires.... I don't think the thick, single wire from the wall will work with the twisting wire connectors I purchased.... Am I able to just put the wires together and duct tape them??
- You need wire nuts, conical plastic pieces with wire helical cones inside them... which sounds like what you have already. (It is not allowed to crimp solid wire - it weakens the wire.) Wire nuts come in different sizes; you will want the orange ones. To use the wire nut, lay the stranded wire alongside the solid wire, both stripped back about 3/8 inch, give the pair a gentle twist with your fingertips, and twist the wire nut on them until it stops or gets pretty hard to twist. Give a test pull on each wire.
- Q: The infamous headlight switch please help
- What is so infamous about plugging the wiring to the switch? It will only plug in one way. UPDATE 8/6/11: In over 45 years, I've only replaced one headlight switch that had melted and that was on a 1994 Plymouth Acclaim and the driver had left the headlights on all night and yes it drained the battery. The plastic plug had melted but the wires had not burned through, so I had something to work with. There is a possibility you can find a wiring diagram on Auto Zones website for your car, they do have an extensive library or you could try to find a Haynes manual for your car. Or if you are low on $$ if you tell us what manufacturer, model, year of car you drive someone here might be able to help.
- Q: i just got two new aiwa stereo speaker's they come with their own wiring in the back but i dont know which wire is whatthere is one black wireand there is another black with gray dashesim thinking the one with dashes is positive?the speaker works both ways
- Chances are the marked wire is positive. For your purposes it doesn't matter a whole lot. The phasing (which DOES matter) will be correct as long as you are consistent with both speakers. If you can remove the front grill or otherwise see the speaker cone directly, you can check the polarity with a AA or other 1-1/2 volt battery. The cone will move forward when the positive wire is *briefly* touched to the positive terminal of the battery while the negative wire is held on the negative terminal. If you see it move back, you've connected the wires in reverse. Don
- Q: I have a 2000 Mazda 626, and I am replacing the factory stereo with a Sony CDX-GT66UPW, I tried replacing it earlier and had to cut off the end plastic pieces for the original stereo wires and stripped the wires, So now I am trying to match up the wires from the new stereo with the old colors, But I don't know what color goes to what on the mazda? Can anyone give me a color coded diagram for the wiring?

- Q: Why do some vehicles have more than one starter wire at the ignition switch?
- one for the solenoid and a second for the distributor. the one for the solenoid is only active in the crank position where as the other is any time the key is in the run position or crank.
