FAQ
Q: My Vacbag keeps splitting when I use it, why does it keep doing that?
Your Vacbag may not be the one suited for your unit, as it will split if it is not the right size for the vacuum cleaner. The bag itself is not an issue with size or shape, but if the hose doesn’t fit into it then it breaks it. We have a range of Vacbags for many models of vacuum cleaners, we can always see if one fits your model or if there is a distributor near you.
Q: My vacuum just stopped while I was using it! What do I do now?
All of our vacuum cleaners have been fitted with a thermal safety cut-off switch which activates to stop the motor from burning out. When it does that it will prevent the unit from turning on again until it has cooled sufficiently to reset, which is between 2 – 4 hrs. The most common reason for safety cut-off switch activated is the filters needs to be cleaned. Please read the instruction manual and follow the instructions on how to clean the filters.
- Q: No central air or heat, so in winter windows are cracked and in summer windows are screened but opened. I bought the air purifier to help with allergies and after 2 nights it does seem to help, but think I need to go back and get the larger one. This one is for room 10 x 12 and my room is 16 x 13 and is connected to kitchen with no dividing door. Am I fighting a losing battle, or will this unit help pretty bad allergies (I think mostly to dust)? Would love to hear your experiences.P.S. I bought the Holmes brand with Hepa type filter.Thank you.
- Air okorder /... (just found this, we didn't record it). I hope this helps.
- Q: I was pricing vacuum cleaners and some say they have 12 volt motors and some 6 amps. Which is the better buy?
- The actual measure of electrical power is called watts. Watts is simply volts times amps (VA). That is what you really want to know. The higher the wattage rating the more powerful the motor.
- Q: I have a two piece standard Kenmore vacuum (not an upright vacuum but one of those that the hose attaches to the body). Anyways, I was vacuuming and then all of a sudden the roller quit spinning. I thought maybe some string or some other obstruction was preventing the roller from spinning or perhaps the belt broke. But I took everything apart and found out the motor doesn't spin. I can't even spin it manually. If I remember right shouldn't the motor be able to spin freely? My motor is stuck and won't spin and I can't find any obstruction preventing it from spinning.Any thoughts? And secondly, can you clarify if the motor should spin freely when the vacuum is turned off because I could have sworn that in the past if anything got wrapped around the roller (like string) I could easily unwind it.
- yes it should spin by hand it sounds like a bearing has seized these may be part of the motor itself and non replaceable good sign of this is any grinding noise when trying to turn the motor, or the motor brushes have worn down or cracked and this can jam the motor
- Q: Are you afraid of vacuum cleaners?
- the sound of it can really terrify sometimes
- Q: the one I have now is very noisy. thanks for any info on this
- Try the Sensor 12, or Sensor 15, German made HEPA vacuum cleaners that trap 99.97 per cent of all the dust/dirt it vacuums up. I bought mine at a janitorial supply store. One is 10 years old and works like new, the other is 1 year old and is left on a job site where it is used 2 hours every day. Wonderful machines. Hospitals, hotels, motels, use this vacuum extensively.
- Q: It sounds a bit odd but I'm dead serious. Whenever I look at my vacuum I have a bizarre urge to make love to it. But the other day when I tried it really hurt when it suctioned my dick so I kind of want to stop, but for some reason no matter what I do my vacuum won't look any less sexy. What should I do?
- its like a milking machine except its your penis not the teet of a cow and it will hurt a bit more
- Q: im just really curious about it and whats the difference with the conventional vacuum cleaner?is it worth buying?
- they clean dirty steam
- Q: What makes vacuum cleaners work?
- suction technology and vacuum parts
- Q: My parents bought one for $1500 and I haven't noticed any difference. It seems a $300 dollar one could do just as good a job
- Right they are built like tanks, Powerful and rugged. In fact I have an old kirby vacuum unit, just the motor and blower mounted on a old shop vac that went bad. The Kirby was bought by my grandmother over 50 years ago and its still running.
- Q: I just bought Kirby Sentria vacuum cleaners for $1400. The salepersons were here for 5 hours doing their demo.I kind of am changing my mind I have had it for less then 2 hours. The paper says that I have 3 days to change my mind. Should I keep it or take it back?Is it hard to take it back?
- Take it back!!! Kirbys are cumbersome and not worth the money paid for them! I'm stuck with mine and always dread vacuuming!!!
