FAQ
Q: My Vacbag keeps splitting when I use it, why does it keep doing that?
Your Vacbag may not be the one suited for your unit, as it will split if it is not the right size for the vacuum cleaner. The bag itself is not an issue with size or shape, but if the hose doesn’t fit into it then it breaks it. We have a range of Vacbags for many models of vacuum cleaners, we can always see if one fits your model or if there is a distributor near you.
Q: My vacuum just stopped while I was using it! What do I do now?
All of our vacuum cleaners have been fitted with a thermal safety cut-off switch which activates to stop the motor from burning out. When it does that it will prevent the unit from turning on again until it has cooled sufficiently to reset, which is between 2 – 4 hrs. The most common reason for safety cut-off switch activated is the filters needs to be cleaned. Please read the instruction manual and follow the instructions on how to clean the filters.
- Q:What is the difference between a 2200W and 2000W vacuum cleaner?
- The first one is 200 Watt stronger! Works a lil better..
- Q:have headlights?
- On a riding lawn mower, so you can see obstructions if you are cutting under a shady tree, or bush. Commercial lawn maintenance people cut grass before the sun comes up at five in the morning for federal buildings. The light on the vacuum cleaner is handy yet again for seeing when vacuuming under a desk or table where the lighting is dim.
- Q:Hi,I am looking to buy a vacuum cleaners but am unsure on which one to get? Does anyone have any good recommendations. My price range is about ?150, preferably not a Dyson; and obviously lots of suction lolI have some animal so maybe one with a animal section or something.Oh, BTW i would preferably upright. Thanks
- Well, amongst folks with animals, the Dyson is the favorite. We had the supposedly top-rated (by Consumer Reports) Hoover Windtunnel upright prior to our Dyson (which Consumer Reports has no use for). There is no comparison. I have to empty the Dyson at least three times every time we vacuum our 1400 sf house. I could go a month without replacing the bag on the Hoover. Plus, Dysons don't catch fire. I've seen ads for other makes showing their models picking up ball bearings and all kinds of stuff. Next time I need to pick up hundreds of marble-sized steel ball bearings, I'll buy it.
- Q:It's a big pain to loop them around those two hooks. I have a bad back and hate all that bending over to do so. Plus, when I turn the top hook to get the cord off and usable it gets all twisted. It's so nice with a canister vac to just touch the button with my toe and ZIPPP, it's all tidy.
- Sears does. Their Kenmore brands have retractable cords. I have one. It is a canister vacuum with carpet attachments. Works great does the job of two vacuums.
- Q:ok so i was cleanin my room today. i ran the sweeper under my desk and my comp froze and crashed and the screen looked like a video game when it crashes. and i rebooted it and it was fine. and i ran the sweeper under my desk again and same thing happened. but its fine when i'm not running the cleaner under my desk. wtf does that mean? do vacuum cleaners emit somekinda fequency that comps just dnt like? it never happened at my old house and when i had win XP. i have win 7 now.
- did you check your plugs? makesure all are plugged in right or you might have a bad wall socket,a loose wire or ?move computer away from desk and try again
- Q:i just started been there for about two weeks and its starting to bug me how they harrass people and try to force the machine on people the manager is not even professionial he walks around cussing and i cant even get any demos let alone sales so should i quit tommorow
- I Worked for an office and did great. We never forced anything on anyone and the owner was very proffesional. Sounds like you have a bad manager. I would quit and report him to kirby. Contact number is on the kirby website, just under customer service. If you find a good office it can be great fun and awsome, I loved it and would do it again if I had the chance.
- Q:I just bought a Kirby Sentria and was wondering if I had been taken. Price was $2100 and I got it for $1395 with two old vaccums. Guess I was concerned, other than the price, that there is virtually no ratings on other sites about how good a Kirby is against other vacuums.
- We cleaned display homes for years and just used plain old Eureka vacs at $59.00 a whack. We tested a Kirby and found it didn*t do any better than the Eurekas My friend had one and said she wished she had never bought it because it was so heavy to push around and it took so long to change a belt, she had to always phone her son to come and change it for her. She said for what she paid she was sorry she ever bought it; You don*t always get what you pay for.
- Q:I am looking for low priced pro vacuum cleaners that suck real hardwhere can i find them online
- try this OKorder store
- Q:My mom always wants me to vacuum but this really hurts my ears - EVEN WITH EAR PLUGS!lolSo.. i'm just wondering if they can make you deaf.. thanks
- If u vacuum like 10 times a day for 10 years maybe
- Q:Isn't that suspicious?
- There's nothing in the Bible about bagless vacuum cleaners. Have you checked the Quran? Cuz if it's anywhere, it would be in there.
