Q:Every once in a while the num, caps and scroll lock will suddenly all light up for a second, then all the light will turn off (even though I had the num lock on, and I can still use the numbers). When this happens one thing i notice is the keyboard repeat rate changes (goes slower). This happens everyday and gets annoying any ideas?
I think your keyboard is screwed up. My advice would be: Get a new keyboard :P
Q:helphow can i open my hp 6710 laptop keyboard ???thnx
Compaq 6710b Keyboard
Q:The deficiency of hollow printing
But the defects of printing method hollow is also very obvious,
Q:I came back from one of my classes and some buttons on my keyboard will not work. They will work, however, when adjacent keys are taken outbut again this only works for some keys. I have not dropped my laptop a significant number of times nor have I gotten fluid or other foreign objects between the keys. Oh, it's a Toshiba Satelite C650DAnd yes, I'm using a wireless keyboard to type this. Even though, I have a wireless keyboard, I do not want to bring the keyboard and laptop to my classes.
The keyboard itself can be bad, or it could be unplugged internally. There is a flat ribbon under the keyboard that attaches to the motherboard. If that is loose the keyboard will not work. To me it sounds like the keyboard is bad though. I'd recommend having the keyboard replaced, or simply using a USB keyboard (or the wireless one you are using now). Keyboards are about $20 on OKorder and the only tool you need to replace it is a Philips screwdriver. If you take it to a shop, expect to pay around $65 (more or less) to have it replaced by a pro.
Q:For school next year, we are getting iPads, and I'm planning on getting a wireless bluetooth keyboard for mine. But I was wondering if, with a bunch of people in class trying to use them, if my iPad could pick up the wrong keyboard? I know that you're supposed to press a button on the bluetooth keyboard and scan for wireless devices on your iPad to make it work, but if someone else is doing it at the same time, could the iPad pick up the wrong keyboard? Could this happen, and if so, would it be better to get a wired keyboard? Thanks :)
It is possible for the iPad to pick up the wrong keyboard, but quite unlikely. You should pair them either when everyone else has done theirs, or before the class starts. Worst case scenario, you get the wrong keyboard connected, and just disconnect it and try again. Also, there are no wired keyboards for the iPad; they are all bluetooth.
Q:how can i program my keyboard to open itunes. and mozilla firefox? i have like the keys for internet home nd my computer nd music keys and that stuff on the keyboard.
Windows Media Player is the default player for the computer. So really you need to change the Windows to like itunes as the default player. that's just my opinion. If your keyboard has a USB plug-in, you can use it on your Xbox 360. Press the windows button and it will bring up the Xbox dashboard. i know, it's a little off subject, but i thought it be good for you to know.
Q:I want to learn to play the piano, but we don't have the money or room to buy a piano.(Unless anyone knows where i can get one for under $300). Anyways i was wondering if i could take piano lessons and practice on a keyboard or if i should look for someone giving keyboard lessons?
Of course you can practice on a keyboard while taking piano lessons. If you buy a nice keyboard, especially if it has al 88 keys, you should not notice much a difference between the piano and keyboard. Low quality keyboards are less responsive than a piano in that when you press down a key, no matter much or how little force you use, the volume does not change. Even if you can only get a cheap keyboard, you will still be able to use it while taking piano lessons.
Q:HiI’m buying a keyboard instrument for my brother. He plays keyboard and It is a surprise gift.I hear him talking about 61 keys and 88 keys. Can someone explain to me what the difference between the two is and which is better?
A 61-key keyboard is a light weight keyboardand and has 61 keys. It is also called a portable keyboard. Beginners usually use it. An 88-key keyboard is the biggest keyboards. Professionals usually use it. So it all depends on your budget (61 keys are less expensive than 88 keys) and your cousin expertis. hope this helps :)
Q:A friend of mine has an american keyboard and they cant get the @ on their keyboard.any ideas and does the american layout in regional settings have to be deleted.
It's the @ key or the 2 key in caps. My first guess would be they have the wrong regional settings, most likely the United Kingdom. It needs to be United States.
Q:Every once in awhile, my keyboard will completely stop working, as if it died. Then, I have to replug it in and it'll work like normal. Why does it stop working randomly? I could be doing nothing and it would die.
Maybe your keyboard is just Used and Abused. There may be something wrong with the connector. You probably should get a new keyboard if the problem is really severe
