- Hey i understand that you want to get a chinchillas wheel! i have 3 chinchillas of my own and they are adorable BUT, the biggest mistake i have ever made was getting them a wheel! they are in my room and in the middle of my night they run on it and it is soooo louddd and they do it none stop and it keeps up at night and ahh its terrible. haha my friend actually makes me take the wheel out when she comes over cuz she cants stand it haha. and to get them to stop running on it we have to slap own hands on the wall and yellHEY!" and they will stop for awhile after that but then they just start back up again and ahh its annoying. haha. other than that if your chinchillas arnt in the same room with you then the wheel is a good idea. but when i first got the wheel for them they ran on it so much that the bottoms of there feet started to bleed. there feet got tougher and it stoped but thats was the only probably with the wheel that mite hurt them. but yeah the wheel can hurt them but when mine started to bleed i just took the wheel out for a couple days until there feet healed and them i put it back it. hopefully this helps =). good luck and peace out. - Q: Really want a new steering wheel on my 1990 truck.Old one is too big, worn etc. It‘s and easy install, really simple.no power steering, no airbags etc. I know the cost for a new wheel and installation ( If i didn‘t do it myself )How common is it for an aftermarket wheel to come off or for it to strip the hub etc, Id prefer to not crash at 65 mph. I would assume it‘s no more dangerous than the wheel on my truck now, but just wondering.
- If it is installed properly there is no additional risk. Might be safer in fact if you are not comfortable with the stock wheel. As a side note I find it hard to believe you have a 1990 truck and no power steering.

- Softer wheels are more for vert skaters and longboarders, because they give you grip and you won't slip out as much and they usually are size 57mm and above. Harder wheels are more for street skaters because they can slide on smooth surfaces and they can deal with big impacts more than the softer wheels. Wheels don't really give you speed, it is the bearings inside of it that give you speed. The best cheap bearings are Bones Reds, they are great and very popular because of their performance. For street skating, usually 50-54mm wheels with a 99a density rating will be best. You won't need different wheels for skating park, but it is whatever floats your boat that matters.

I've been skating for 6 years (since I was 11) and over those years I've skated many brands of decks, trucks, wheels etc. The first thing you need to know is the diameter of the wheels you want to get. Street wheels are between 51-54mm and vert wheels are 55+. The next thing is the brand of skate wheels you will buy. The wheels I would recommend most are either Spitfires or Rictas. Both brands make very fast and durable wheels. Another thing is that I would recommend you visit a local skateshop. You can actually ask for assistance picking out wheels because everyone has a different opinion. They might have more knowledge than me in picking out wheels. If you know what brand wheels you're going to buy, ask them if they recommend it.
