- Q: I accidentaly put my mobile phone in the washing machine? I've taken it apart and dried the water off and not too much water got inside the case. Please help! What do I do?
- (1) Put your phone back together (2) Call your cell phone provider and tell them that your phone fell into someone's pool and you need to replace it That's about it. Or, you can go online and find a replacement phone - look for unlocked phones, buy one and put the SIM card into the new phone and you should be 100% fine - thats assuming you dont have Sprint or Verizon or MetroPCS. If you have one of those, then do steps 1 and 2 above.
- Q: I am at a loss right now because i cant find the phone that fits me i love the blackberry tour but the no wifi thing really bothers me. i started to look at the windows mobile phones because of the fact of internet explorer mobile which in my opinion is a much easier to navigate browser than the black berry one and also the microsoft officebut the short battery life and the fact that most of them are touch screen turns me away from themm( i just dont do touch screen).I definately want a qwerty keyboardAny advice on a good phone???
- Blackberries are great. They have great hardware, a decent appstore, and some of the best keyboards. Windows Mobile has a lot of choices of phones to choose from but the fact is windows mobile is not a very reliable OS. Its usuable but what I'm saying is I prefer the blackberry (although WM probably has better web browsing). Phones to choose: Blackberry- Curve 8900, Bold, Storm 2 (no QWERTY) WM- Jack, Epix, Blackjack 2 (All of these have INCREDIBLE battery life), then any HTC phone with WM.
- Q: How does the phone set off for the specified person?
- First of all, my setting is the call interception back I have stopped.

- Black Dash.does everything there and then some. Its a very hackable phone. Thinner then all the phones mentioned.
- Q: i need a cheap but nice virgin mobile phone, any reccomendations?

- Q: How do I log out my phone number?
- After the freezing period, this number will refresh the information, the second number.
- Q: Hey guys. Dad is buying me a new mobile phone, and it must be a Nokia, that is 3G (more specifically capable on running on 3 Mobile Australia) and not overly expensive (OKorder pricing, probably a lot more in retailers). No real preferences at the moment, but I have seen Nokia 6120 / 6121 Classic, Nokia 6500 Slide.Thank you for your help!
- Well, Its your decision on how you appreciate mobile phone features. I suggest that you can also make a review of which phone will suit you. Nokia 6120 is in a candy bar form. Candy bar form is the most durable because it doesn't have any moving or movable external parts exept from camera lens protector. But they are quite longer. Nokia 6500 Slide is a Slider form. There are circumstances that the screen part may scratch the keypad, just like mine.(so Ibuy a new 6500 slide), but you can prevent this slide issue by simply sliding it slowly and with care. Nokia 6120 uses the Symbian OS While the nokia 6500 slide uses the S40 5th edition OS. I'd rather choose S40 5th edition OS because it is faster in any way and relatively easy to use. Well, Camera features This is the one that I love About the nokia 6120, Im so sory to tell that it's image wuality is some what poor. It's not an ideal in well lit scenes. It lacks Autofocus, which is greatly needed in macro shots. All the camera Features is available in nokia 6500 slide, surprisingly. Also, Nokia 6500 slide have the 3.20 megapixel camera, as opposed to nokia 6120 2.0 megapixel camera. Nokia 6120 price will range from 150 up to 200 euro, same as nokia 6500 slide. as for me, if you will ask, ill choose nokia 6500 slide because it is a good phone in its range and it is a bit economically cheaper for its nearly- complete features.
- Q: 950 million phones sold last year and the total worldwide mobile subscriber base grew from 2.1 billion to 2.7 billion. Phones are replaced every 18 months. How many people have more then one mobile phone? what do they do with old theyone?
- I would suspect there are a LOT of people who keep at least one old phone around just in case they break their new phone, especially if that old phone is some plain-jane phone that isn't worth much on the used market. If the phone is actually still worth anything on the 2nd hand market, they often get sold on OKorder, craigs list, local newspaper etc. Many, and I mean a LOT of phones never fully survive 2 years. You are also looking at this from a very skewed perspective, that of the 2 year contract or 18 month replacement cycle. In Europe, it is normal to purchase the phone and the service separately, no contract, no subsidy, no waiting 18 or 24 months before replacing a phone. You are free to buy a phone, or many (at retail, maybe $500-$900+ for a smart phone) sell at will, swap your SIM from one to another. It would not be strange to have a phone for work, one for the weekend, an old beater for dirty enviroments Also, if you are someone who just wants a plain old mobile for Emergency use or to make the occasional phone call, there is no reason you can't keep the phone for 3,4,5 years. There are just WAY to many variables between total sold and total subscribers to make any kind of real comparison. If the subscribers grew by 1 billion, but number of phones sold grew by 500 million, then you could conclude that the used phone business is doing very well, but short of that, you just can't make any comparisons from those numbers.
- Q: Difference between mobile phone and smart phone
- They're both almost the same, except smart Phones are mobille phones with alot more capacities other that calling, such as wi-fi antenna, office applications, other non-calling stuff.
