- Q: If you have a t-mobile phone you know that your phone sometimes says other services than t-mobile under the service indicator. Because when your t-mobile service is down the netowrk works off of the other towers. Anyway, my t-mobile service is always two bars or less in my home area. I use to be able to work off of cellularone and att but now it says SOS. How do I make it not say SOS so I can work off of the stronger tower in my area? If I won't be able to make it stop, how can I boost my t-mobile service? Don't say get another phone cause I can't. I'm under two year contract. Thanks.

- Q: I would love some advice, I'm going to sign up for t-mobile but don't know which new phone has the best battery life-- I had a lot of problems with my last phone at verizon, so its really important to me that it'll last like at least two days also good keys for texting, and preferably a slider. - My boyfriend and I both have T-Mobile. He has the blast and I had the Nokia 5310 (i recently upgraded to the G1.) The blast is an ok phone. The battery life is not anything amazing but it is ok. I really liked my Nokia 5310. It was compact, had a great music player and it had a long battery life. I know its not a slider phone but you should really check it out. They also have them on sale for $50, just at your budget!

- you would have to find out from your local att but I am not sure why you would want a t-mobile for att it can get pricey. if you would want a free phone through att check this link and see if I have any for your area.

- In my opinion, Tmobile is a great cellular service provider and I've been using them for years without problems. So I think you should be fine with them. Meanwhile, all I can say about the t-mobile phone selection is RAZR-Ville! and it's also that way for a good reason. T-mobile doesn't offer very many decent phones in my opinion aside from the reliable RAZR and Sidekicks. But, the problem with this is the fact that RAZRs are becoming all to common and the sidekick has an apalling screen resolution, camera, and portability rating (at least for me). T-mobile also has a tragically small amount of smartphones in their line up. This is because T-mobile is relying on the blackberry/crackberry to hold their smartphones sector. So unless you love blackberries, look somewhere else. Finally, the low-end phones are mainly clamshells with decent functionality for those who just want a phone. Though one exception to the low-end phones would be the samsung slide phone that they have get it if you wan t a nice looking and quite capable basic phone. Thus, unless you absolutely love the RAZR, text message to the point or needing a sidekick, need a blackberry(I found the phone boring), or want a basic phone which you can mostly get elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend getting a phone from t-mobile directly. Which brings me to a simple conclusion, buy an unlocked GSM phone that works with where you live and T-mobile from OKorder or something and stick your sim card in it. Well hope that helps.
