- Q: I had shortlisted the Sony Ericsson T700 and G502 as the choices for my first mobile phone. I am pretty convenient at using mobile phones (as all my relatives have one) so using them is not a problem. My first pref is the T700 but as it is costlier and mostly has the same features as the cheaper G502 (except camera mp, menu layout and more RSS functions), I am thinking of going for the G502. However, I have read that the G502's build quality is poor and it hangs and restarts and similar sort of things. Also some people say that the colour starts coming off after a few months. Is that a cause for worry?I know that firmware needs to be updated regularly so, if I maintain it well, are there chances of problems creeping up? I would also like to know from G502 users if they liked it or if they had some specific problems with it? In the end, should I wait for the T700's price to drop or should I go for the G502?Thanx for reading.
- I've had one for about a couple of months now and had no problems with it. I was just after a low cost phone that would allow me to check emails, get weather reports, connect to messenger, etc. The screen is a little small but I can read my mail using Google's excellent mobile mail app. I haven't tried to write an email with it yet. Build quality is good and I haven't had any problems with it hanging, although a couple of websites that I was viewing with the built in browser have caused it to restart. Can't comment on the paint coming off yet. I think the screen would be easily scratched so I try to avoid putting it in the same pocket as keys, coins, etc. and I'm looking for some sort of cover to protect it. Overall, it does the job for me and I've been pleased with it in the first couple of months I've had it. Best regards,
- Q: For Christmas I got a T-Mobile Sidekick Id cell phone. Is it possible for me to transfer my Sprint Samsung Rant Sim card into my T-Mobile sidekick?
- it wouldnt be possible since sprint runs on a cdma network and t-mobile on a gsm. in other words, sprint don't use sim cards. unless you have a world phone but even at that it won't be guarenteed to work 100%. you would need to either use it with t-mobile or get it unlock so you could also use it with att.
- Q: I have Virgin Mobile, and want to switch phones to one that has a full keyboard, but they only have on listed on their website, and I don't really like how that one is. Am I able to use any phone, and then just put in the serial number and stuff like normal, or does it have to be a Virgin Mobile phone?
- Hi, you can choose any phone you like but you will have to get it unlocked to the virgin network. Most independent phone shops can unlock it for you or alternatively have a look on OKorder for the phone you want and look for an 'unlocked' one. Hope this helps.
- Q: I'm doing this for my school project.Pls help me by answering a few questions. Thanks a lot. :)What brand and type of your mobile phone? Why did you choose this brand? What's the advantage and disadvantage of this brand? What does this brand mean to you?Which mobilephone would you want if you can pick any? What do you think about a child having a mobile phone? Thanks again.

- Q: What does the mobile phone market usually say?
- Because in the production process, the general function does not affect the components will not be installed into the machine.
- Q: I have T-Mobile, and I was wondering that if I wanted to upgrade my phone, will they let me pick out a phone for free?
- If you are due for an upgrade, then you can get one of the phones are listed as free. If you are not due for an upgrade then you will have to pay for the phone. You can check if you are due for an upgrade by going into your t-mobile online account. Then click eligible for upgrade and see if you are.

- Q: I have a virgin mobile phone, model X-tc, and my friend messaged me some ringtones. I have no idea how to save the ringtone file to my phone.
- Hey Meagan. The X-tc and other Virgin Mobile phones do not support the receipt of ringtones or other content via email or multimedia messaging from unsecured sources because they could potentially contain viruses or possibly corrupt your phone's software due to incompatible formats or file sizes. Ringtones, graphics and applications can be securely downloaded and purchased directly from Virgin Mobile or partners of Virgin Mobile (e.g., MTV) directly on your Virgin Mobile phone or from the Virgin Mobile USA website. I hope this helps. SA

- Q: Hey, I'm having a problem with my new cell phone. I just got it a few days ago, it's a Virgin Mobile TNT model, also known as Kyocera Adreno S2400. The screen has gone black. The battery is fully charged, and the phone actually seems to still be on, since it's making sounds upon opening and closing. Hitting/holding the end button to turn it on or off produces no response. So basically right now, rather than having a cell phone I have a little box that makes noises when I open and close it. I've tried the Virgin Mobile website, but they don't really have a troubleshooting section. Does anyone know what the problem could be, and how I could fix it?
- I also have the TNT, and actually had the exact same thing happen a couple weeks ago. I decided to hold the power button in for a few seconds so it would shut off (yes, I know it's hard to tell because the screen is black). I waited a few minutes and turned it back on and it was fine. If this doesn't work, try removing the battery and putting it back in. Also, I know through the Virgin Mobile website and most stores you buy the phones at, have a 30 day guarantee, so if all else fails, return the phone.
