Q: can we install power 480 VAC and control 120 VAC cables,,, each one in different conduit but in parallel and adjacent ?also for two control cables ,,,, can they installed in one conduit ?
It is a standard practiceto run power and control cables in different conduit but the basic criteria is voltage gradings. All cables upto 500volts can be laid in one conduit whether power or conrol. In case of high voltage cables, because of elecromagnetic inducion effect, different conduit is adopted.
Q: So, I built my first computer 6 months ago, only to have the power supply fail, and maybe fry the CPU or the motherboard (hope not), and I ordered the XFX 550W from newegg. Now I built the computer, but this is actually going to be the first time I'm taking out the cables of the power supply to the motherboard, and it looks like it's quite tightly in there, do I just take it out by force? I don't want to exert too much pressure because I'm a pussy and I don't want to ruin it haha.
The HDD power cable has no clips, the SATA cable usually does though. The ATX power cable especially (20/24pin) will give quite a lot of resistance, just make sure to keep pushing the clip down while pulling up equally, meanwhile, keep an eye on the motherboard, it'll flex and bend as you pull it up, but yes, you will have to pull quite hard to get things out, harder than you would normally think, I was the same as you, I keep thinking if I pull/push too hard or force things they'll break, but components are far more robust and resistant than you think.
Q: I have a 2003 hyundai tiburon and need to know where in the firewall should i drill my hole to run the power cable i know it goes throught the firewall but where if you have ever done this to a tiburon please let me know.
There should already be a hole there.
Q: when i bought my motherboard it came with two 4-pin to sata power cables but i see that the power supplies have a sata power cable on it how do i connect these i have no idea how to do this
Just connect the power supplies sata power connector to the hard drive. By the way those 4-pin(molex) to sata power connectors are only used if your power supply doesn't have sata power connectors but only molex and your hard drives are sata power. They allow you to connect a 4pin molex to the connector and power sata hard drives with it. If you want to connect a sata power connector to it and get molex power you can't the connector is not designed for that. Also if your hard drive uses sata to connect to the motherboard and has a 4pin power connector just connect a 4pin power cable from the power supply to the hard drive. I hope that answers your question.
Q: 3 (WDZBN-YJV-4x240 + 1x120) cable how to interpret
Should be such a model it WDZB-YJV0.6 / 1kV4x240 + 1x120 power cable halogen-free low smoke flame retardant B grade refractory cross-linked polyethylene insulation - polyethylene jacket 0.6 / 1kV power cable, 4 core 240mm + 1 core 120mm copper Core cable.
Q: I used my laptop as a home computer, most of the time I keep my laptop turned on with the power cable plugged in. Is it good to do that? or is it better to plug the power off whenever the laptop's battery is full? Which one is good for my laptop' maintenance? By the way, everytime I asked this question, people give different answers. So I really need a professional opinion.
I'm not sure what's best for your actual laptop but I just had to order a new battery for my mobile phone and laptop the other day. The guy at the battery store told me it's better to charge it up, then let it run all the way down or as close as possible to empty before charging up again. He also said you should only charge them for as long as it takes to fully charge. Apparently batteries create a 'memory' from where you start charging them so that if you charge them as soon as they get to half full they'll 'remember' that eventually and as soon as they reach half full, they'll 'think' they're empty. Well that's what he told me. That's what's best for your battery, if I were you I'd just ring a computer store and ask an IT tech this question instead of asking idiots like us.
Q: Regarding car audio setup, if I were to have an 8 ga power cable powering an amplifier for subs, what would happen if I were to use a smaller ga grounding cable? What if I used a larger ground cable?
well i am using a 10 ga power cable for my subs it is going perfect, i have used 14 ga speaker wire before also and it works just fine. But in my opinion i dont think it matters how big your ground wire is, im not an expert on this but i still know quite a bit though ;).
Q: Whenever I unplug the power cable, the laptop starts to lag, bad, and yes I do have a fully charged battery. This has been happening ever since I got the thing, and no it has nothing to do with the battery, and no matter how many times I re-plug the cable and take it out again, or just leave it in, it continues to lag. The only time it stops is when I reboot, at least until I unplug it again. Also, it has nothing to do with the performance battery plan. Any ideas? This is really annoying.
Do you mean lag as in a slow OS. Well- Where is your SPEEDSTEP set at in your BIOS? You may have 3 or 2 settings which ARE affected when your Cable Power is removed it will go to a Bit Slower Processor Speed to prolong the battery. If after you change the settings in BIOS and it does this again, its likely need to be sent back for repair under Warranty as this is NOT Normal...
Q: My acer laptop's charger wire thing has broken and i wondered if you knew if you could buy them from shops and how much they'd be?
You okorder Unfortunately, without knowing your laptop model, I cannot give you a direct link. Best of luck.
Q: so my old psu fryed itself, and i just ordered a new one, i have another psu that i can use but its only 350 watts, it has no gpu connector, can i still use my computer without the power for the gpu, i have no onboard video and i have a radeon hd 6850 256 bit gddr5. and my cpu is a amd phenom 2 x6 (six core) 1045tthankyou
Erm, no. This is like asking if you can turn on your computer with no power plug connected...
