Q: i have no idea what it's for, but 2ond and 3rd were just wrongly bought.anywayz how can i use them?: The first one is a SATA hard drive cable - data cable The second is a USB male to male connector cable, The third one is a Ethernet cable. If you have a SATA hard drive, and connectors in your computer you cna use the first one.

Q: i know how to transfer data from ex. hdds, flash drives, cds and/or other media devices, but just to let you know im not interested transferring from these common devices i have listed aboveI am mostly and only asking about what type of cables i can use.I actually want to know out of 3 cables which is usb 2.0, firewire, and esata which is both the same connector to transfer data from one pc to another pc when connected to both pc's usb or esata or firewire same port.my question is, which would be compatible and faster and would be work perfectly?also, will both pc's recognize it right away?one thing is i tried to connect a firewire to my laptop and another laptop to test the speed but there was not no sign of the computers being connected or probably i dont know how to do it.i heard most people can do it through usb 2.0 but i want to know if esata will work to because i want and need something that will transfer data fast. and i heard that esata transfer data like 3.0gb/s.thanks in advanced.: If you just want to connect 2 computers, with nothing in between (routers, switch, hubs etc), then you need a crossover cable. It's looks like a standard network cable, but the wires are switched around at the ends. I don't remember the exact configuration, but it's not really important. Just go buy one. Ask a non-stupid looking salesperson to help you find one.

Get a Linksys Wireless router and you can use that to connect your laptop to the Internet via a wireless connection. If you want to connect it using a data cable go to the store and ask for a CAT 5 cable. it can be used to connect your laptop to the router via the RJ-45 port (the connector will look like a large phone cord connector). They're pretty cheap usually, about 10 or 15 dollars. To do it the way you're talking about, you would need to buy some software that's WAY too expensive just for what you're trying to do. Your best bet would be to just go to the store and ask for a crossover cable. Cheaper and alot easier.
