- Regarding the data transfer question, I can offer three suggestions: 1) buy a thumb drive for about $10 and plug it into the laptop. Copy your data to it and then connect it to the new computer and copy the files from the thumbdrive to your new PC. 2) buy a cross-over data wire and use it to connect both computers together. You'll need some instructions for how to make this work, so it's may not be your best option. 3) get a friend to help you connect both computers to the same router, and then to help you connect both computers together to allow for file transfer. This option will depend on how much your friend can help with. Sorry I couldn't be a bit more specific, but I'm trying not to confuse you further. Hope this helps

Unfortunately, you won't be able to successfully send midi files from your PC or another phone to be used as ringtones. The only thing that you may be able to is the following: You can go into My Sounds on your phone, select Record New, and record part of a song playing in the background on your PC for example. Then send this sound to your own number attached to a text message from your phone. Once received, click the options key (usually the right softkey) and choose, save as ringtone. It will sound a little shatty though.

- Yes it can be reused. They may have meant that you can't move data from the original drive with the cable more than once which is obvious since it's all moved together.

- If you are on a fix, on a smartphone, its inevitable u did something wrong, and this calls for a format of fone. To format the fone, press *#7370#, then enter the lock code, which is the sec code of the fone normally 1234 if you have not changed. NOTE: batt must be full, else if format is disrupted by low batt, consequences will be disastrous I heard the code *#7780# works too, pretty much the same. This process formats the phone and not the memcard which note. Take a proper backup of the phone coz you are going to loose all your data. Any finally try this at your own risk and don't blame or curse me later.
