- you can not download songs without software the computer and phone have no clue what you are trying to do because it has nothing that is connecting themit depends on what kind of phone but more than likely you can't get any software downloaded for free for your phone i know personally motorola is the worst they make you pay for the disc and the cable like 49 bucks.

- Found this over at Howardforums, but havent seen it here, so thought would let you guys in on it . Have translated and provided pics in english This will *only* work with a serial cable, ie no usb/irda. First up, you need to create a new network connection as shown in the diagrams below: Click on 'Properties' It will ask you to specify who has the privileges to use the connection - choose which ones you fancy (at least yourself and administrator tho!) Once the connection has been created, right click on it and ensure that the COM Port tick box is ticked, then in the users tab ensure that allow Palmtop computers to connect without a password is also ticked. And thats the connection sorted. Then you need to download the Uploader at malschaun.at.interims.de/Uploader (be sure to save target as) After this, enter the code to enable Serial Java download - #*536963# It should display something like serial enable, others disable or similar. Then enter the code #*5737425# and select *once* option 1, PPP UP (only once, otherwise the phone will reset) . The screen should flash white for maybe 1/2 a second. Fire up the uploader software then load the Midlets you want into it. Finallly select option 2 Serial Download from the #*5737425# menu and the download should begin. Enjoy!!

- Your friend has what's called an 'ethernet' cable, which will be able to transfer data at usually around 100mb a second (or one tenth of a gigabyte every second). Keep in mind it must be a 'crossover' type ethernet cable in order to allow transfer between the two computers. 1. Make sure you have a crossover type cable. 2. Attach one end (doesn't matter which) to the ethernet socket on the back of your desktop PC. Then attach the other end to your laptop's ethernet socket. 3. Then just run the Network Setup Wizard (your computer will open this automatically when it sees that you've wired up both computers) and it will take you from there.

- No, not for you SATA data cable. You would have to have an individual SATA cable for each drive or else it would register it as a single drive and write the same thing to every drive. I would recommend zip tying the SATA cables together until they reach the HDDs where they would spread apart. That would be the best way to go. Good Luck!

- Are you sure you have a crossover Ethernet cable? Check to make sure its not a phone cable. Attach one end of it to your desktop, and the other end to your laptop. You can use Windows Easy Transfer, or just transfer the files using Network. Make the files you want to transfer Public so that the other PC can see it, then start transferring. If it really is a crossover Ethernet cable, just plug it into the wireless router, and the other end to the PC you want connected to the internet.

- you need a data transfer cable. unfortunately, a usb-usb cable won't do what you want it to do, as I've learned that from experience. you do not need additional software because it comes with it.
