Q: How to remove a very long silica gel stained on the carpet?
Milk, use cleaning agent after the stain to be soften. Use banana water or paint thinner to wash if shoe polish smear the carpet. Brushing the corresponding coffee spot rugs glycerin. coated cream carpet with dry cloth first sucked the booty, vinegar, finally use the wet towel clean, the stains soaked repeatedly scrub with brush ink, dirty carpet should rub with rice milk, and then the neutral carpet cleaning agent. 005 on the old ink stains on the carpet, and finally clean with water, and then clean with neutral detergent. 002 spot rugs spotted by fruit stains can be repeatedly scrub by 8% ammonia water 1 soy sauce. 007 tea stain, wash it with neutral detergent . 4 immediately use of alcohol paint red ink stained carpet, and then wash with alcohol again. 6 paint. 3 The part is stained by ink, and then clean it with carpet cleaning agent
Q: Little more info I was having a heated debate with friends and suddenly there are large blotches of red wine all over my new cashmere rug and splatters over the wall. Consulting the services of a professional cleaner is out of the question. Please it's urgent the rug really tied the room together. Look forward to hearing your suggestions,Robledo Puch
A professional carpet cleaner is your best bet. However, you say this is out of the question. Realize that any home remedy is risky. Having said this, you can try to clean this rug yourself, but the results are not guaranteed. You can remove red wine with white wine. Pour white wine onto the red wine stains. Let that sit for about 20 minutes. Then wash the rug in your machine using the cold water setting and Woolite. I would not add fabric softener. After washing, hang to air dry. Do not machine dry. There is a chance machine washing will ruin your rug, but cold water machine-washing is as close as hand-washing as possible. If you let the rug air dry, there is a good chance it will survive. Honestly, if I had an expensive cashmere rug that was stained, I would take it a professional. The choice is yours. Good luck. -
Q: I am trying to decorate my house and I'm really stuck on what color of area rug to get for my living room!!!My walls are beige with white trim. Hardwood wood floors in the living room and bedrooms. Black granite floors in the halls, kitchen, breakfast area, and bathrooms. I am going for a mainly neutral color scheme overall (a lot of brown and black), except the bedrooms will be done in their own individual style. In the living room I have a brown double recliner and brown curtains with black rods. I have a couch and love seat that I'm looking to replace but have not shopped for anything yet (not until I have the money.
I would go with the red for that particular rug and pick up the color in accessories around the room. It will be much more visually interesting. If you choose a different rug you could pick something with browns and tans with some other color in it. IMO you really need some color. Red isn't my favorite but I think it would look fantastic. I prefer orange, teal or spring green. But the accent colors you choose don't have to be bright. They can be soft blues, yellows or greens etc. Some great moodboard inspiration links below
Q: What do you know about Armenian rug history?
Sera, my understanding is that you already know about this, just want to inform people , which is very nice... but I asked my teacher and he gave me the following Sources: Weavers, Merchants, and Kings. The Inscribed Rugs of Armenia, by Dr. Lucy Der Manuelian and Dr. Murray L. Eiland, Kimbell Art Museum, Fort Worth, 1984. Rugs of Armenian, Their History and Art, by H. M. Raphaelian, Anatol Sivas Publishers, New Rochelle, New York, 1960. Oriental Rugs and The Stories They Tell by Arthur T. Gregorian, 1967, Nimrod Press, Boston. Oriental Rugs, by Murray L. Eiland, Expanded Edition, New York Graphic Society, Boston, 1976. The Color Treasury of Oriental Rugs, by Stefan Milhofer, 1971. Caucasian Rug Images found at earth.oconnell /RugNotes/Caucasia.htm
Q: I just want the best carpet cleaning company in the Gilbert, AZ area.
see if you have a Chem-dry in your area. it doesnt leave your carpets soaking wet and they dry in a few hours
Q: I shampooed my carpet and now have lumps that have risen in the middle of the room?
It is possible it will lay back down. If it doesn't you can have it done for $100-200 depending on room size. You can also do it yourself by renting a re-stretcher and knee kicker. Just pull back carpet as far back as the wrinkles are. The re-stretcher is designed to hook onto the tackstrip and pull the carpet tight.
Q: I'm looking for the best vacuum cleaner that washes house rug/carpet. Any price will be ok. Once it does the job. Thanks
The best cleaning solutions to use on your carpet are the Rug Doctor brand. These products work best and are the most economical, particularly when purchased at warehouse type stores.
Q: I acquired enough used carpeting (good quality) to redo my whole house, but have no padding. The padding I currently have is 30 years old,as is my current carpet. Also wondering, what is carpet crease?
Carpet is often put down in commercial situation without pads but have not seen it done that way for home use. It not only makes the carpet feel more plush it also helps reduce wear on the carpet backing itself.
Q: What is the adhesive of the red carpet of the automobile exhibition hall
Or putting the car will fold. Using speed reach can be more reliable. Before getting on the car,the plastic cloth pad can be put, then the car is put well, tears off the cloth, pressing three to five cm in seam
Q: I recently moved in with my boyfriend but I told him I'd only move in if he put a carpet down because we have a 10 month old son who does not want to sit still. It's been a couple months and everytime I bring it up he dismisses it. I don't want to wait any longer. I will pay for it and he already said he knows how to put it down. The floor is completely bare...it's not hard wood flooring but the wood that's underneath the carpet it comes with. It has staples to hold down the wood and all along the edges are those sharp nail things. He said that we need something additional to put between the wood floor and the carpet that makes the carpet soft or something. What I need to know is WHAT all do I need to put down a suitable carpet for my son to play on.Thanks for any and all help!!
Get an area rug, it's far less work. Carpeting is a miserably difficult job, right up there with installing a door or a window. It's really hard on the knees too and you need a special tool. It really isn't fun.
